Located in the heritage town of Leixlip—birthplace of Guinness—Alensgrove sits along Arthur’s Way and is moments from scenic trails like Castletown House, Carton House, and the Royal Canal Greenway.
Our stone-built cottages offer exclusive access to private walkways, a relaxation room, private sauna, on-site coarse fishing, lifesize chess, outdoor recreation areas, a solid-fuel BBQ, and much more.
Alensgrove is just a short drive, train, or bus ride to Dublin City Centre, offering quick and convenient access to the capital’s cultural attractions, restaurants, museums, and nightlife.

Alensgrove, is currently 20 mins drive (23km) from Dublin airport and the same to the City Centre.
Only a short distance from major companies such as Intel & HP, the accommodation in Alensgrove is well serviced with top infrastructure and transport options to Dublin and the surrounding areas (Bus, 35-40 min, Train, 40 min).
It is well serviced by the main travel routes for any travelling by car, with access to the M4 ( Galway, 2 hr, Cork City 2.5 hr and Belfast city 1.5hr ) the M50 motorway is only a short distance from the premises.

Our cottages come equipped with fully operational kitchen, cooking essentials and a washer-dryer.

Fishing facilities are available on-site for those looking to relax by the river.
