Contrary to it`s name this private property is surrounded by shady Peppi trees giving you all the privacy you need. Located just a 5 minute walk to the beach or step across the street to the Ledge Point Golf Course. The perfect getaway for the avid golfer or fisher person!



Sleeping 5 with 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom, galley kitchen and dining with an open plan living lounge area.

This fully self contained house offers everything from the fully stocked kitchen, flat screen tv, air conditioning and comfy lounges to the spacious veranda overlooking the well maintained golf greens.

Rinse off in the secluded outdoor shower from the beach or sit in the garden and do some bird watching, you will have plenty of time for relaxing in this weekender.

Ledge Point getaway

This town is a lovely getaway relatively close to Perth. The property is a lovely shack type house that has more than enough of every-thing to keep every-one happy. There was tea and coffee, and all eating utensils and plates in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable. There is ample off road parking. If you have some-one with difficulty climbing stairs and a steep ramp, you might want to consider another property. The washing machine worked. The front deck is a major feature and was lovely and cool at night. Watch out for the crabs in the sea, but the beach is lovely and a short walk away. Enjoy a great escape.

Good location, comfy beds, but needs better cleaning

This older style house is on the main road into Ledge and an easy walk down a few blocks to the beach. It has a nice balcony on which to enjoy the afternoon sun and an outdoor shower for use after a beach outing. Check in is through a lockbox - and although the listing stated a 3pm checkin (which we then planned around) - the checkin instructions that I had to ask for a few hours before our intended arrival, stated the checkin time as 2pm (which we weren’t then able to take advantage of)!!! Upon arrival the house was neat and tidy and relatively clean, although there were a few issues that detracted from our stay in general 
 1. The bathroom vanity cupboard was opened up to reveal mould growing over the water laden and damaged shelf and a foul smell coming from it (clearly it had been like that for some time!!) 2. When we went to put our dry food items away we realised that there was no pantry or cupboard space to do so! Consequently I commenced stacking and rearranging the items strewn throughout the cupboards (in an attempt to make some storage space), only to then discover a considerable amount of mouse poo throughout the cupboards and in the items! (As there were other guests in the previous night, it clearly had not been cleaned well!) 3. The dining chairs were badly stained - all of them - and consequently we sat at the breakfast bar for all of our meals. 4. We had a 3 night booking and had been left with only 1 partially used toilet roll. There were also no tissues or serviettes, if we had needed ‘backup’! 5. There was nowhere to hang any clothing items (not even a portable rack) 6. The QB had a DB quilt on it! 7. There was no Wifi made available. Upon contracting the property manager (owner??) on our arrival, to bring the vanity, mouse poo and part toilet paper roll issues to their attention, I was told that most people only use the house as a ‘weekender’???? I wasn’t really quite sure what I was supposed to take from that, considering that our accepted booking was from a Sunday - Wednesday! Although we made the most of the few days away and the house in general, we felt the price (over $200 / nt) was a little high for the ‘quality’ of what was provided and what was / wasn’t offered.

Weekend Getaway

Lovely property inside and out. We really enjoyed the deck out the front and the entertaining area at the back. Airconditioning was a real bonus. Great for families. We’ll definitely be back again.

Great family holiday house

We stayed at The Fish Bowl for two nights and wished we had stayed longer! The house (and Ledge Point) is a lovely spot to unwind and take a break from the city. The house is very well maintained, including a fully stocked kitchen which was helpful for cooking. The house is more suited to a family than two couples. I did have to follow up with the host for check-in information, but Lana responded quickly and gave clear and helpful instructions. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and short drive to Lancelin. We would gladly stay again!

Nice location, privacy

Overall we enjoyed our stay; the place is just perfect for kids, with boardgames and a great outdoor area. Great location close to playgrounds. I find it really hard to give this kind of feedback, but honestly a few things could have been improved; there were dirty things in the kitchen, no DVD player, the satellite on the TV didn't work (but this was fixed the next day). The main thing for me was that the beds were squeaky and uncomfortable; I would suggest the owners look at refreshing the beds as it was not a restful nights' sleep. If the beds were upgraded, we would definitely make this a regular trip. Thank you
