Inside, this three-level cabin features comfortable entertaining areas, including a plush sectional and a large flatscreen in the lower level living space, along with a kid-friendly loft equipped with foosball and air hockey. Natural light floods the home, highlighting the beautiful pine finishes and a stunning brick chimney housing a wood-burning stove.

Enjoy dining options that range from a spacious table to a convenient bar, or dine al fresco on the expansive deck with table for 10. The kitchen is fully equipped for culinary enthusiasts, making meal prep a breeze. This home does not have central air conditioning, but there is a mini-split upstairs and on the main level as well as 4 box fans for additional comfort.

While we do our very best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded at all times, winter conditions can change rapidly and make access both to and from challenging.

This driveway has a significant slope. When snow and ice are on the ground, 4WD/AWD vehicles, with good traction tires are necessary. Chains are recommended for all and a must for 2WD vehicles. Please consider this when booking From November through April. Please be prepared and plan accordingly.
If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons and we hold firm to our cancelation policy.

The log cabin is spacious and comfortable. It wasn’t as remote as I had thought. There was not enough hand soap. And the comforter in the upstairs bedroom had a stale smell.

Amazing weekend

House is as describe and extremely clean. We had 3 families and bedroom situation worked great. Plenty of towels, kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this property.

Comfortable and warm family home

Comfortable 3-level home perfect for our 3 generation family getaway. We’ll-equipped kitchen, plenty of lounging spaces and comfortable beds. The football table, air hockey game and hot tub were fun amenities for the family. About 10-minutes from Leavenworth which was close enough for shopping and dining but far enough for privacy to feel away from it all.

Great location for a quick family getaway. Everyone had a great time, the location was excellent and loved the house. Some of the beds were slightly uncomfortable for some of the group but everyone agreed that we would stay here again!

Senior Trip

My daughter chose Leavenworth for her senior trip and picked out this house. We brought her best friend and her friends mom. The house is very cute and the girls loved the hot tub. There were several other homes close by but it still felt secluded due to all of the trees. Everything was clean for the most part and management was efficient with all of their responses. My only complaint was that the house does have a very strong dog odor and one of the beds had dog hair on the top comforter. This is an animal friendly property and probably wouldn’t have bothered me as much if I had brought my dog. Overall a good place to stay.

Wonderful cabin and stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Boulder Cabin. The cabin is private and in a great location fairly close to town, and equipped with everything we could need. Plenty of room and space if you’re traveling with multi-generation family. My kids loved the loft area as well.

Great cabin

This is a great home for a family! We have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy it. Keep an eye out for the neighbor dogs who like to come by and get a sniff. The driveway is very steep so don’t ignore their warning about 4x4 in the winter!

Great and Relaxing House

We all enjoyed The Boulder House. The open main floor was perfect for cooking, eating, and hanging out by the wood-burning fireplace. There was plenty of room in the loft for the three teens, and they enjoyed playing air hockey and the hot tub. The bathrooms have been recently updated, and are very nice. The kitchen has not been, but is perfectly functional. Beds were very comfortable, and the linens were nice and well stocked. We had to buy our own kindling for the fire, but there was plenty of firewood stacked outside. If you want music, bring your own bluetooth speaker. They really mean it about the driveway -- 4WD is almost a must, even without snow, as the driveway is steep and unpaved, making it tricky to navigate when it's been raining. Great host -- responsive communication before and during our stay, and helpful information in the notebook at the house. We all agreed we'd love to return to The Boulder House next time we want to stay in Leavenworth.
