The room smelled like cigarettes and had many floor stains. My asthma was triggered and my body was lethargic from the combination of mold and strong cigarette smoke. The porch was so dark - light wasnât working. I stumbled at the steps, but also felt nervous in the dark. I donât know the area well enough to be comfortable. I contacted the websiteâs listed phone number for replacement but no response until close to noon the next day.The odors were intolerable so I opened the window, but there was no safety latch/bar to prevent any break-ins. I needed the extra mini heater since it was freezing. On this first night while asleep, the power went out around 2am so the heat shut off. It was very cold. The lamps stopped working. I got moved to a new room late the next day. The coffee maker was still dirty. The second room didnât smell like cigarettes but it did have a moldy odor. I lost a a day waiting for the new room, where the key code didnât work. I waited in the cold rain and missed dinner reservations.The next afternoon, I was locked out of my new room in the cold and dark again. I didnât hear a response so I called again. I was given access to a physical key. The rep said theyâd come the next morning to fix the keypad. That didnât happen. Instead I got a message about checkout process. I was not able to enjoy my time because of all the waiting and moving rooms, and being locked out. It started on day one and had issues everyday.
