Fantastic stay! Clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Great location right next door to my son and daughter in-law and a quick walk to Main Street to shop and grab a bite to eat.Amenities were excellent had everything to prep an Easter Brunch. We will absolutely be booking again in the near futureThank you to our hosts !!Jennifer Hassett
The house is great! Very well done and lives as good as it looks. The couch was not cheap âlooks good but sits terriblyâ but rather something very comfortable that I would have at home. I was concerned there might be noise since it is close to Main Street but everything was super quiet. I slept like a baby! Leadville is a wonderfully quaint town with great food and Ski Cooper (49/day lift tickets, 60/day rentals, and no lift lines)! Loved everything!!
This place is adorable! The only down side is the beds. The front bedroom bed was so hard our friends took turns sleeping on the softer trundle bed. Our bed in the back bedroom sloped down 3â or more making the blood rush to our heads. We finally remade the bed and slept with our feet towards the head board. The place was clean, inviting and the kitchen is well equipped. They need a cushy mattress pad for the one bedroom and something to level the bed in the other bedroom.
We stayed at the CO Princess as our home base for a visit with our son who lives in CO. The home was perfect, allowing privacy with our own bedrooms and bathrooms as well as cooking meals together and hanging out. The kitchen was very well appointed for cooking and serving meals. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We took in local sights like downtown Leadville within easy walking distance and the Leadville Steam Locomotive trip which was very pleasant. We fished many of the nearby rivers: Clear Creek, Blue, Arkansas, and the CO River. We took a float trip with the CO Rafting Company which was very fun. We also enjoyed Buena Vista and the Cottonwood hot springs. We took a day trip to Rocky Mt National Park (arrive before 9am or reserve a timed entry slot). Leadville is a charming historic CO community, unique in so many wonderful ways.
The property is good and as advertised. The code for the door didn't work when I showed up. It took 2 1/2 hours for someone to reach back out to me. Not what you're hoping for when you've had a long day traveling. I'm not upset that the code didn't work, just how long it took for someone to return a call, text, or email. Not sure I'd rent from this property group again.
This house is beautiful, well appointed, great location, clean, and comfortable. The only issue we had is that the radiators are the loudest we've ever heard, and we have a lot of experience with this kind of heating system. If you're not an extremely heavy sleeper, bring earplugs. Even running white noise on speakers couldn't overcome the literal clanging. Worth the earplugs to stay in a great spot!
The house and hosts were great. The home is in a peefect location to walk to downtown and has easy parking. Very clean and nice setup. Note that one picture shows two twin day beds. They've been replaced them with a queen bed that has a rollout trundle. Worked great for our family of four.
This was a very clean and quaint home with everything that we needed for a week long stay. Host was very responsive and the house is well stocked. Great location as we were able to walk to everything in downtown Leadville.
The property was clean, nicely decorated, and with a well stocked kitchen. Walking distance to many restaurants, stores and museums. And a short drive to many beautiful trails. Hosts were very gracious and helpful, quickly responded to requests for assistance. Weâve rented in Leadville 3 times and this was the best rental.
Very nice restoration of an old home! Very well appointed, well cared for and very, very clean!
A little tricky to park two cars in front without encroaching on the neighbors.
Would've appreciated a reading lamp in the 1st bedroom.
Location wonderful for walking through the town. So impressed with the near by museums! Found beautiful hikes within half hour drive from Leadville.
The Princess is aptly named. Bright, clean, welcoming.
The neighborhood was comfy and quite the mountain town feel.
Location was ideal: 3 blocks from Mining Museum/HOF, and 1/2 block of Harrison Ave shops and restaurants.
We had 1 problem which was quickly rectified by management.
Looking forward to another visit, thanx
