The kitchen is well-equipped and sociable, with a large dining table and benches that invite lingering conversation late into the evening. Thoughtful design continues across the four bedrooms, where exposed timber lends a distinctive character. A generous mix of king-size double and twin rooms, along with modern shower rooms, makes this a flexible and welcoming home for families or groups of friends.


Beyond the walls of the farmhouse, guests can admire the open grounds. A traditional charetterie is an ideal spot for barbecues, while the table tennis table offers a casual challenge. In the Seine-Maritime department of Normandy, Le Nid Côtier offers a rural escape just 4km from the dramatic Alabaster Coast. Whether you’re planning bracing coastal walks or day trips to charming seaside towns, this setting offers a delightful slice of Normandy.


A scenic walking path – part of the chemin de grande randonnée – leads directly to the sea through golden fields, arriving at the beach in around 30 minutes on foot. For quicker access, the sandy shores of Plage Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer (2.8km) are just a short drive away, ideal for soaking up the sea air. There’s a summer snack bar, play area and vast shores of sand and rock, depending on the tide.


Local conveniences are close at hand too: a small café-bar/tabac/épicerie is around five minutes by car, while Dieppe (19km) offers full amenities, bustling markets and a picturesque harbour filled with fishing boats.


This corner of Normandy is also rich in cultural and natural gems. Just a short drive away is Veules-les-Roses (8.5km), officially one of France’s most beautiful villages. Stroll along the riverbank, taste local oysters by the sea and admire the half-timbered houses draped in flowers. Varengeville-sur-Mer (11km) is equally captivating, home to a clifftop church adorned with stained glass by Georges Braque – who also rests in its churchyard. Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
