SAFETY CONCERNS - Property misrepresented and uninhabitableRating: Our family stayed less than an hour before we had to vacate for our own safety. This property is grossly misrepresented in the listing photos.âą Safety & Atmosphere: The location felt extremely unsafe. There were "shady" individuals loitering directly at the entrance watching us unload our luggage. We felt targeted and uncomfortable immediately.âą Condition of the Unit: The apartment was filthy. There was visible dirt on the floors, a fist-sized hole in the wall, and the sliding glass door was so loose it felt like a security risk.âą Misleading Photos: The exterior of the building looks nothing like the provided pictures. To make matters worse, the unit smelled strongly of active cigarette smoke.âą Access Issues: The complex entry door is nearly broken; it took my husband three minutes of struggling with the lock every time we tried to enter. The digital keypad on the unit door was also "janky" and required 3â4 attempts to register the code.âą Lack of Communication: I attempted to resolve this with the host immediately to request a refund, but they stopped responding entirely the next day.Avoid this rental at all costs. It is poorly maintained, difficult to access, and located in an area that felt genuinely dangerous for a family.
