Amish Cottage, Hot Tub, on Mill Creek

This charming 2-bedroom cottage with hot tub is located on the banks of the picturesque Mill Creek, just minutes from Sight N Sound, the Outlets, and many other tourist destinations. Located on an Amish farm, you can see farm animals from the windows and get a taste of life on a working Amish Farm. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, while still being close to all the local attractions.

Sit back and relax in one of the most unique cottages of Lancaster County. The cottage sits on a historic farm that was once a stopover on the Underground Railroad. Recently renovated, the cottage features all the modern day comforts of home while allowing you the chance to see what life is like on an Amish farm. Plus, you're able to slip into ultimate relaxation with the hot tub!

The main floor features a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you need. The living room has large expansive windows that overlook the creek. You can relax on the couch and watch for birds hunting for fish over the creek. Or, enjoy the sights of the farm animals grazing in the pastures located around the cottage.

The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed while the second bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

The cottage also has a large deck that overlooks the creek. You can relax on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Close to many tourist destinations, this cottage is almost hidden in plain sight. Sight N Sound is located 5 mins away. American Music Theatre is 5 mins away. Fulton Theatre is just under 15 mins away. If shopping if more your speed, Tangier and Rockvale Outlets have over 200 stores, including outlet stores for many popular brands. Both are under 5 mins away.

Please be aware, there is no TV at the cottage. This is because of the religious beliefs of the Amish owners.

The cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. It is also close to many tourist destinations, making it ideal to stay for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation.

Guests have full access to the cottage, patio, and parking area adjacent to the cottage. There are many other buildings here and we ask that you please refrain from exploring them.

The cottage is located on a working Amish farm. It is nestled in between the sewing shop and the barn. You'll get a first hand look at the workings of Amish Farm Life.

Please note, this cottage is on a farm so the smell of animals, feed, or manure could be present outside the cottage. Also, it's generally quiet here yet it is a working farm so there's a chance for noise from vehicles, horse drawn equipment, and animals.

There is parking at the cottage for 2-3 cars.
Most destinations and restaurants are within about a 10 minute drive from the cottage.

Please note, there are no TVs in the home. This is due to the religious beliefs of the Amish property owners. The home is equipped with Wifi though.
