Relax and unwind with the whole family at this Rappahannock River paradise in Lancaster Virginia. This spacious, restored historic home is the perfect getaway for your family vacation, girls' trip, or retreat. Enjoy picturesque views from the screened in porch overlooking the river or cozy up around the firepit. Comfortable modern décor, water views from most rooms, and private dock.

The space
Historic summer house nestled among the trees along the Rappahannock River waterfront. Experience all the fun the water has to offer during the day and gaze at the stars at the night. Escape the city lights and enjoy the small town feel with local shops, stores, and restaurants throughout the area and nearby towns.

The house is simply beautiful and comfortable with ample space to spread out and relax. The kitchen will impress even serious cooks. The grounds and water views of sunrise and sunset are not to be missed. Truly a wonderful place to spend a weekend away catching up with old friends.

Beautifully restored and decorated historic home with waterfront views of both the sunrise and sunset. Very quiet area, perfect if you love the peaceful sights and sounds of the water and many species of birds. Even the trees are spectacular! Loved the screened porch and fire pit area. Our host even provided everything necessary for s’mores.

Fabulous Retreat!

Our ladies from Cafe had a wonderful retreat. House was right on the water,clean and beautifully decorated! The hosts made sure we were completely taken care of. Firepit,somores,plenty of towles so many little extras. We will be back!

Girls’ Weekend

What a wonderful weekend at Towles Point! The house is absolutely beautiful and had all that we needed. We enjoyed our time sitting on the dock catching up and exploring nearby towns of Kilmarnock and Warsaw. Communication with the owners was easy and they were quick to respond to questions. We all said we would love to come back!

Perfect Ladies weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is thoughtfully decorated and very cozy. The house has so much character! The view of the water and the sunset was majestic!! We enjoyed the fire pit and the screened in porch. We had fun shopping in Kilmarnock and enjoyed lunch at Bay Bistro. We would love to go back in the summer time and go out on the River. The house was lovely. Had great large lot. Back porch was great for enjoying river views. The pier was large enough for all six of us sit on. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Great long weekend.

Great Place to get away and relax

We stay often at VRBO homes over many years with family. This is at the top of the list for a number of reasons. .All of the family agreed. And wants to come back again next year. To give folks wondering if this is the right place for thier stay. We had a variety of people with us including a couple of teachers (new and retired), a couple of business owners, and a landscaper staying with us. We all enjoyed the options of space in the house, the big yard (lot of croquet played and reading under the big shade trees, the swimming and the dock for fishing. So many options at one place. And within 30 minutes we could be in quaint towns for shopping, meals and sightseeing. The house is better than the pictures which looked awesome. It was impressive what the owners have done with this historic house. Again, when the group which included 29 to 72 was asked if they wanted to come back to this house next year for our family vacation, it was a resounding YES! Thank you to the owners for being so responsive as we planned the getaway and during our stay!!
