Guests will appreciate not just the local history and attractions, including New Lanark Visitor Centre, but how accessible the town is to other towns and cities throughout Scotland. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible by train from Lanark with the station being a short walk through town. Driving round the towns and villages around the area you’ll frequently stumble across somewhere you’ll want to stop and either enjoy a walk round some shops, enjoy a coffee and the scenery, which is gorgeous in this part of the world, take in the historic sites or travel a little further and enjoy some more of this beautiful part of the world.
