Located in the historical city of Lamego, Casa de Monsanto is the perfect place for families and friends to enjoy the most memorable vacations. The house is located in a quiet and pleasant street, overlooking the Serra das Meadas and the emblematic Douro landscape, with good accessibility to the historic center, either by foot or car.

The house has one suite and two bedrooms, all of them featuring queen-Size Beds and central heating.

The pool is seasonal and it's open from May 1st to September 30th. It has a minimum depth of 1 meter and a maximum depth of 1.60m.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven, dishwasher, stove and coffee maker (coffee not included).

ïż« Laundry
The washing machine is located outside in a designated area.

ïż« The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis - replacements or re-fills are not provided. All other items must be acquired by the guest.
ïż« Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
ïż« The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
ïż« Check-in time starts from 16:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.
ïż« We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
ïż« Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
ïż« During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
ïż« Baby Crib is available upon request and subject to an extra fee;
ïż« In order to ensure your safety and in accordance with Covid-19 best practices, our properties are always cleaned by a professional cleaning service.
ïż« Coal and firewood are not provided.
ïż« Barbecue must be left clean.
ïż« On Saturday mornings (9 am to 1 pm), the gardener will be on site to maintain the garden.
ïż« Please leave the Sun Umbrella closed when not in use (especially on windy days).
ïż« The automatic irrigation takes place at 06:00 and 22:00.
ïż« Surveillance cameras are turned off when guests are at the property.
ïż« Please leave garbage in the containers and the house in the same condition as you found it.

ïż« For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly bill consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT.:

- Please confirm your check-in time as soon as possible so we can arrange everything specially for you.
- Flexible check-in and check-out are available upon request, but only if the property is available. These requests must be done in advance.
- Late Check-In Fee.: 25€ after 22h00.
- Late Check-Out Fee.: A later check-out between 11h00 and 17h00 is possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.
- Early Check-In Fee.: An early check-in between 08h00 and 16h00 is possible if the property is available, but it’s subject to a payment of a 25€ fee.


CLEANING and LAUNDRY.:

- Bedding Sets and Towels are provided according with the number of guests.
- The Cleaning Fee covers the check-in/check-out cleaning only.
- For longer stays it's possible to arrange extra cleanings (with an additional cost).
- For stays longer than 7 nights, extra linen will be provided.
- The apartment is always cleaned by a professional cleaning service. If there's something that doesn't meet your standards, please contact us.


OTHER RULES.:

- Make sure you are up-to-date on travel restrictions/requirements. We may ask for additional documentation according to government guidelines.
- Baby Crib available by request (extra cost of 25€/week).
- The silent period in Portugal is between 22h00 and 08h00, and night rest period must be respected. The apartment is in a residential area and you should be aware that social events and other activities that might disturb the neighbors are prohibited.
- Coal and firewood are not provided.
- Barbecue must be left clean.
