Around 15 minutes away, you'll find Huntington Lake for boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and lakeside relaxation. During winter months, China Peak Mountain Resort is a short drive away for skiing, snowboarding, and snow play.



Getting Around:

A vehicle is recommended for getting around Shaver Lake and the surrounding area. Candal Crest is conveniently located just a short drive (15-20 mins) from Shaver Lake, local restaurants, grocery stores, and outdoor recreation. During winter months, 4WD/AWD and chains may be required during storms. Whether you're heading to the lake, exploring hiking trails, or spending the day at China Peak, most attractions are within a scenic drive from the cabin.
