The owner was terrific, beginning to end -- helpful, engaged, and thoughtful throughout. The location overlooking the lake is beautiful and gave a great view of the gorgeous sunset each evening. We fished each day and sure got a workout climbing up and down the steep hill! The beds were super comfortable and the home had everything a family could ask for.

Location was convenient for our activities. Was a little disappointed that the view of the lake from the deck was not as much as we thought it would be (trees were in the way). The house was very clean and well arranged with the master suite being off the kitchen and the other bedrooms being on the other side since we had a toddler and baby with us. Would use again.

We enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and was well stocked with cooking supplies. Has a view of the lake from the back deck. Was a little tricky to back my 22’ pontoon boat into driveway, but got it done. 2nd time to back in was easier and still had room to park 3 more pickups in driveway

Best Choice Whitney Lake House

Comfortable, Homely and Spacious, well decorated in a lake house theme, good sheets and towels.Property is Maintained ExcellentAlmost no need to bring much. Well kept and clean. Inside and outside, large wrap around porch on lakeside comfortable for large gatherings. Lots of beautiful plants and landscaping all well kept. So much more, my family enjoyed our stay and will do it again soon. Best lake house choice in Whitney with view and actual water access.

Gorgeous lake, great lake house!

This was our first time to Lake Whitney and we will definitely be back. This lake house is great for family, had all the amenities and very clean. The property manager was very helpful and easy to work with.

Scenic views and lake access

After looking for quite some time, we finally found this property. It is one of the few that has great views from elevation and also lake access (although it is somewhat of a climb). Kitchen is well equipped and the decor is perfect for a lakehouse. We were able to back a boat trailer into the driveway but it is not for the novice. Lake Whitney is beautiful and not far from Waco and Hillsboro. Whitney is a small town and has super friendly people. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed this property!

This was a great area to stay on Lake Whitney. The house was very clean and full stocked with all necessities. Kitchen had everything you would need. Beds were all comfortable too. The owner Stuart is great. He answered all questions and gave multiple suggestions! It is a bit of a steep walk down to the cove, but we were able to manage fine. We really enjoyed fishing down there despite the fact that we didn’t catch anything. The water level on the lake was really high during our visit so the dam was open making a kayak trip impossible. We will definitely do that when we return next time.

Perfect!

Our stay at Cliffside was perfect. It felt very welcoming the moment we turned in the driveway. Here are some of the things about Cliffside that made our time so enjoyable: ‱A beautiful view of the lake! ‱The quiet. ‱Plenty of places to gather together and spots to be alone for a time, both indoors and outdoors. . ‱Comfortable beds and furniture, room for growing teens to sprawl. ‱A well stocked kitchen, just bring your groceries and you are set to prepare meals at “home”. ‱The welcome basket, filled with eclipse treats for us. ‱The chess board! ‱Everything was clean. ‱We found BBQ and the best brownie sundaes ever close by. ‱Being April when we visited, the Bluebonnets and other wild flowers were fabulous. I could go on and on, but I will end this review with a 5 star rating. We loved our time spent at Cliffside!

A wonderful fun and relaxing weekend!

The home had so many lovely and interesting spaces both inside and out to enjoy. The back porch opened out to the beautiful tree filled landscape and lake. Swimming in the cove was yet another peaceful and fun space for the famiy to spend time together. We all want to come back again!

Great Stay!

We had a great time at Cliffside. The house was clean and fit our needs. The master bedroom bedding was very plush and we slept great. There were cardinals greeting us in the morning out on the screened in patio. It is kind of hard to find and none of the outside lights were on when we arrived, had it not been dark and raining it might have been easier to see. The kitchen was well stocked and we found the book with restaurants and shopping locations very helpful.

Amazing week

This home is gorgeous, lots of windows and natural light. This place met everyone's needs. It comfortably slept 8 people, the place never felt crowded. The scenery from the patio is beautiful, the sunroom was perfect in the morning with coffee. This place had everything. We can't wait to go back.

Great, great property...very responsive owner. Very clean. Great layout with the three bedrooms nicely spaced apart. Open kitchen, dining and living areas - great for family gatherings. Well thought out furnishings. Super nice patio. Driveway / parking area recently upgraded - really nice. We will absolutely stay at this home on future lake trips.
