Avec 3 chambres plus une chambre bonus et 2 salles de bain complÚtes, il y a suffisamment de place pour 8 personnes. Sent host a message on 12/29/25I am yet to received a response (no response from host) . The broom was broken and the furniture is old & overused furniture, no TV in room for kids, no blinds or curtains on some windows--it's winter & cold! we couldn't enjoy the firepit thumbs down. I prefer modern amenities...this was not it! One word OUTDATED.

The property was in a great location and had a great hot tub and pretty golf course view. The property and furnishings were a bit tired/worn, could have been cleaned better (lots of spiders/dead spiders in basement bedrooms), and lacked some basic amenities you’d expect to find such as shampoo and wine glasses.

Overall the house is ok it’s very outdated, light bulbs missing, kitchen supplies are old, and the shower becomes a tub because it doesn’t drain. But what really upset me was the rats that ate our food in the kitchen. This place is not worth your money.

Pros:- Location- Nice wrap around deckCons:- Hot tub did not work at all during our stay which was the biggest bummer about this place because it was a key reason we selected it. The owner COULD HAVE told us the hot tub wasn't working/may not be working prior to our arrival as it was clear she knew about it before we arrived but she didn't.- Cleaning: We arrived 4:30pm and the house cleaner was still there. She said it was because the dryer wasn't working and it was taking forever to dry the towels, but after we got in it was clear other things were not cleaned either. The Kitchen floor was a mess, spider webs around the beds and areas that a reasonable person would assume could easily be cleaned regularly (especially when you are paying for it).- Rodents (mice) in the house: we saw at least 4 mice running around the upstairs and down stairs...at least one of them is now dead on a sticky mouse trap under one of the downstairs beds. Needless to say nobody was real comfortable going to sleep.- about 50% of all the light bulbs in the house needed replacing- The deadbolt on the front door did not lock...the bolt doesn't line up with the hole in the door frame.- no cable with video pin for DVD/VHS player- The pictures in the listing are clearly from several years ago...the house is a darker grey and a good amount of wear and tear not shown- Cost / Rate: Many better places in same area for the same or lower nightly rates.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is fantastic. Right on the golf course and a short walk from the lake as well as downtown Kings Beach. The only problem was the downstairs bathroom was pretty bad. The shower didn't work and the whole bathroom needs to be updated. But overall this was a really solid rental!

Amazing location for holiday weekend

We were able to park cars and walk everywhere to avoid the 4th of July holiday traffic. Well stocked with items like towels, extra blankets, kitchen items, and more. Enjoyed the cabin feel and charm.

Family Vacation

Overall, it wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed but it wasn’t the best. The place was not cleaned, there was hair on the “new” bedsheets, the bathrooms were dirty, and the beds squeak a lot. It was way overpriced for what we got.

This is our 4 year staying at this property. Deborah is a wonderful host...communicative & responds quickly. Any time we've needed anything she is prompt & so helpful. Our kids love the house as well & always ask when we're going back!

Great location

Nice place with a lot of character. There’s some minor damage around the place (holes in walls, leaking around the windows with water damage, etc) that could be fixed. The hot tub was a little cloudy and low in water level. The host was very kind and responsive and overall the stay was great. Fantastic location.

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay here. The main floor worked well for everyone. To get to the next level we’re 4 of the beds are located and other bathroom you have to go down a spiral stair case. For our group wasn’t an issue, but I thought I’d mention it in case anyone is older or for any furry friends. There wasn’t any conditioner and shampoo, however the kitchen was stocked well. The only odd thing was - I received a message from the host a day into the trip saying we would have to wake up at 3am-5am to move our cars in the driveway for a snowplow and we were to just stay in the car while they plow. Very strange, luckily it was warm and snow turned into rain, but it was a very odd request and to only be told about it the first day into our trip. Overall, we had a really good time and kitchen being well stocked made it a very good stay. Plus the store was down the street to pick up wood for the fireplace!

Successful Return stay

Returned to this property again for a few days at Northstar. Great location near grocery and short drive to the mountain, lake, really everything. Kitchen is pretty stocked which is great when bringing the family. Bunk bed (likely for kids) is downstairs from the master (didn't matter with our family, but might be important for others to know). Top bunk bed a bit close to the ceiling for our 8 year old, but it is an extra bed. Hot tub was a great addition after some skiing days. Overall, lots of space and a nice family home. Would stay again in winter or summer, excellent location.

Rustic Cabin Among The Ponderosa Pines

The cabin is ideally situated backing up to the golf course with beautiful Ponderosa pines all around. While not within walking distance of any beaches, a short 5-7 minute drive will get you to the Lake, to the Safeway and numerous yummy restaurants. The neighborhood is great for walking. It should be noted that this is a TWO story unit—we did not see that mentioned in the listing and may have opted for another location if we had known that. There are bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors, however the stairway is very narrow and spiraled, which could present an issue for guests with mobility issues. Also, many of the windows don't open so it's impossible to get a cross breeze and enjoy the cool mountain air, particularly in the evenings. On warm/hot days, the cabin gets very stuffy and warm. Fans in the bedrooms are helpful, but just serve to move the warm air around rather than cool it. While plenty of electrical outlets are available throughout the property, many are loose and I didn't feel confident when plugging in my devices. The back yard is not fenced (very common in this area), however the deck is secure for guests with dogs. The kitchen is stocked with ample utensils, almost to the point where there is too much. A dish drying rack would be helpful for hand-washed dishes in between running the dishwasher. Napkins would be a nice addition; there were plenty of paper towels, toilet tissue and soap.

House was nice but needed to be maintained better. Missing or not working light bulbs, rear door frame looks like someone broke in needed to place bed in front of to secure. Closets overloaded with blankets and sheets. TV controls not understandable and poor instructions. Windows in rooms do not open, so not able to escape if fire. Minimal parking neighbor said we could be ticketed unless we move 2nd vehicle. Very tight spiral staircase to lower rooms, no hand rails or sufficient lightings. Sink faucets in lower bath we not attached properly to sink and would spin while attempting to use. Place just needed a little attention and maintenance.

Great home and beautiful location right on golf course. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you could need. Close to Kings Beach but not walkable. Safeway close enough to walk. Great backyard for kids to play. Would rent again. Host very good communication.

Amazing!

Debbie is an amazing host! We were planning a ski weekend with a group of friends, but were discouraged when we saw that a blizzard was predicted during our stay. Debbie was so responsive and understanding as we tried to figure out if it would be safe to go. My partner and I work remotely so we were able to come up the day before the storm and Debbie let us stay an additional night for a discount. The storm also lasted a day longer than predicted and the roads were closed, so Debbie let us stay yet another night at the last minute! She was so nice and understanding as our plans kept changing with the weather. I have never had such a kind and communicative host. Beyond this, the house was so nice and cozy, we were able to have a fire every night and enjoyed the hot tub a couple of times while we were there. While our friends were not able to join due to the storm, there is tons of space to accommodate 8 people comfortably. While our weekend was not what we were expecting, we had an amazing time and hope to come back in the summer! Thank you so much Debbie!
