As we arrived at Evergreen Lodge, what should have been a bright spring day quickly turned into a mesmerizing Muskoka ice storm. The towering evergreens, wrapped in crystal-clear frost, shimmered in the unexpected winter wonderland. While the photos may not yet do it justice, this stunning retreat is a place that begs to be experienced in every season.
From the moment you step inside, it’s clear how much love and attention has been poured into every detail of the home. The front hall greets you with a spacious walk-in closet, perfect for tucking away winter gear or summer lake essentials, keeping the space pristine and inviting. Moving into the heart of the home, the living room beckons with its cozy ambiance—whether you prefer curling up with a book by the fireplace or settling into an armchair with a steaming cup of tea, there’s a perfect spot waiting just for you.
Flowing effortlessly from the living room, the well-equipped kitchen is a dream for culinary enthusiasts. Unlike many similar homes in the Northern Lights development, Evergreen Lodge stands out with its thoughtful touches—small appliances at your fingertips, a collection of cookbooks brimming with inspiration, and a layout designed for both function and warmth. Just off the kitchen, the three-season Muskoka Room provides a serene space to enjoy an evening meal, swap stories over appetizers, or simply listen to the rustling of the evergreens.
The bedrooms are designed with rest and relaxation in mind. The primary suite, a private oasis, features a queen bed bathed in natural light, a luxurious ensuite with both a soaking tub and shower, and a walk-in closet for settling in comfortably. A second queen bedroom offers floor-to-ceiling windows and semi-ensuite access, making it a welcoming retreat for another couple or close friends. There is a charming office space for those who need to sneak in a bit of work during their escape.
Downstairs, the lower-level rec room is a hub of fun and friendly competition. With a full-sized ping-pong table, a mini pool table, and foosball, it’s the perfect space to unwind and create lasting memories. And when adventure calls, the prestigious Northern Lights community provides the perfect launching point—just a short drive to Huntsville, Dorset, and Dwight Beach, with hiking trails and Muskoka’s iconic landscapes right at your doorstep. Whether you come to explore, relax, or make new traditions, Evergreen Lodge is ready to welcome you home.

The Municipality requires rental guests sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature.

Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the departure checklist must be completed

Dorset Lookout Tower. Visitors are welcome to climb to the observation deck, which is 142 metres (465 feet) above Lake of Bays, and enjoy the view from the tree-top lookout as well as ground level lookouts. (20 mins)
Robinson’s General Store. This famous general store is a "must-see" for anyone visiting the Muskoka or Haliburton area. The store has been owned and operated by the same family since 1921, and now sprawls over 14,000 sq.ft. of retail space. (20 mins)

Great property, troublesome check out process

Beautiful and clean property. Check in process was smooth. Unfortunately the check out process asked us to throw away garbage (which is quite normal and on its own ok) but also to stripe our sheets and towels and do a load before we leave.We are paying a hefty cleaning fee and saw there were extra sheets in the cabinet so the rush for us to do this and ask for us made it feel like a sour end to an otherwise great trip. We had to rush to make our tee time and check out. I was somewhat embarrassed to have picked this for my guests but otherwise great stay.
