We are thrilled to reopen our cottage following Tropical Storm Helene! Whether you're looking for short, mid, or long-term accommodations, we're here to welcome you. If you need housing while your home is being repaired, please don't hesitate to reach out. We would also be honored to host those visiting to support local tourism or those assisting with rebuilding efforts.

Casa di Cresta, Italian for "Ridge House", reflects your host's Italian roots and the home's hilly setting.

With two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and ample outdoor living space, this cottage offers a luxurious and relaxing vacation home for a party of six. We are just one mile from the Lake Lure public beach. Please note that, due to owner allergies, we cannot allow pets at the cottage.

Upper Level:
The upper level of the cottage consists of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, deck, and screened-in porch.

Bedroom:
Enjoy a restful night of sleep on a queen-size Siena memory foam mattress. The room has a large closet and is steps away from the upstairs bathroom.

Bathroom:
The bathroom has a large shower stall, storage for toiletries, and many towel hooks.

Kitchen:
The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a glass top range and oven.

In the kitchen, you will find an electric kettle, a Bodum French press, and a traditional 12-cup coffee maker.

The kitchen is stocked with all the essential items to make and serve a lovely meal, and we will keep salt, pepper, and olive oil on hand for your convenience.

Dining:
The dining room has a fantastic view and the table seats six people. In the dining room storage cabinet, you will find puzzles and games to enjoy during your stay.

Screened-in Porch:
The porch is furnished with outdoor rugs, a wicker conversation set, a coffee table, and a ceiling fan.

Deck:
To the left of the porch is the spacious deck. It has a bistro set that seats two in comfy swivel sling chairs. We also have a new infrared electric grill for our guests to use.

Lower Level:
The lower level of the cottage consists of the living room, second bathroom, second bedroom, and flagstone patio.

Living Room:
In the living room, you will find a luxurious West Elm velvet couch, with a memory foam-topped queen mattress. The room also has beautiful leather chairs, a stocked bookshelf, and a Roku TV. The TV has all the major streaming apps available for you to log into on your account.

Bathroom:
Off the living room, you will find the spacious second bathroom. It has a tub and shower combination and a vanity with storage.

Bedroom:
Enjoy a restful night of sleep on a queen-size Siena memory foam mattress. The room has a garment rack, lots of hooks for hanging clothes, luggage rack, and is steps away from the downstairs bathroom.

Patio:
Just off the living room, you will find a spacious flagstone patio with two Adirondack chairs, a bench, and a fire pit.
The entire home is yours to enjoy. There are no shared spaces. At this time, the steep backyard is off-limits to guests.

Please be aware that bears are present in the area. Take care not to leave food or wrappers outside the cottage.

Please note that there may be some highway noise when enjoying the outdoor areas of the property.
