Amazing Getaway!

My close friends, family, and I were in town for a bachelor party and we loved the property! The home had everything we needed to make it feel like home and we were impressed with all it had to offer. The house was clean and well taken care of and we'd love to visit again in the future.

Summer break with family

The home was very nice and well maintained. Our family enjoyed the setting with the lake view and many other features. We spent our nights in the movie room and lower level playing pool, cornhole, or cards. Great place for families with plenty of entertainment in the house and surrounding area.

Remarkable Time in a Special Place

We enjoyed staying at this property with my 93 year old mom. Very clean and for our purposes, perfect amenities. We enjoyed the home theatre room on two nights during our stay. Kitchen is very well appointed, and views were impressive. Loved it...love Steve and Sue Gage...and will hope to come again!

WOW!

This home was amazing! The kitchen is off the charts! The view is fantastic! The theater room is really great! We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table and the jacuzzi. We were comfortable not even leaving the property. The fire pit was a lot of fun. We had a few day fires to enjoy. We'll definitely rent this property again! Highly recommended! The management was extremely helpful and responded to our questions immedialtely.

Great Mountain Views in a Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved our stay at this pristine property! The house was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t in this house. The kitchen was FULLY equipped with high-end appliances and everything you could possibly need to cook. We particularly loved having the Big Green Egg because we have one at home too so we felt at home with it. The views were amazing and the fire pit outside made for a great afternoon. One major highlight was the full movie theater equipped with a sound system that is only matched in a real theater. I cannot say enough about this property! It is a definite must-rent if you are in Lake Lure. It felt like we were the first to rent this house because everything seemed like it was brand new. We come from a tourist area in NW Florida, so we understand how important a rental group is and these property managers were amazing. They were responsive and happy to help with anything we needed from the moment we got there until the time we left! We highly recommend this rental!!!

A Taste of Fall

The property never disappointed- from the views from every window, the great kitchen, movie night, rocking in a deck chair to enjoying an evening campfire around the fire ring. Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful week at Buffalo Shoals Lookout. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed with everything in great condition. Check in and check out we’re seamless. It was also nice to have the property managers close by in case of a problem (there weren’t any problems). Highly recommend this property!

Great stay!

The property was truly perfect with fantastic lounge spaces and close proximity to activities. We had a large group so the number of beds was great, and having so many community areas was a treat. Hosts were responsive with questions and the place had all the basic amenities you'd need. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the fact that these owners shared every possible thing with their guests when it came to the kitchen, pantry and laundry. After 30 yrs of renting properties in NC, I have never experienced a kitchen that had everything you could possibly want or use in it and such high quality. The downstairs was also a dream for my teenage grandsons (and their parents). They went home planning a movie room for their house. Because this house sits on the mountain side, they took advantage of Corn Hole in the small flat area in back. Because Rumbling Bald, the private area, ran along the lake, it did take 20-30 minutes to access the lake, beach and marina. I believe this was mentioned in the description. What I had not realized because this was our first trip to the area, was that we were across the road up high and we had no ability to walk near the lake at all. The one view we had was beautiful, but certainly not easily accessible without the drive. Sue, the realtor, was phenomenal. I really never had a complaint, but if there were any questions or comments, they were answered in a matter of minutes via text. Our hike up Chimney Rock on Saturday and my daughter-in-law and my trip to Hendersonville were my highlights. The men “rode” horses through the river on a very hot and humid day. We had a fantastic lunch at River Watch. All other meals were cooked at home and eaten at the table for 8. We also utilized the Green Egg.

Beautiful stay at Lake Lure

This home as everything you can want from an awesome fire pit, amazing open concept kitchen with everything you can need for cooking, a private deck with amazing views, a theatre room and great bar room with pool table and games. Not to mention the hot tub on deck. The whole family was very please and we hope to be back soon. The town is awesome! clean and nice people. Thank you for this great experience.

A beautiful, comfortable house with quiet surrounding.

My whole family, that made up of nine adults, ranging in ages 23 to 81, were all very happy with the accommodations. Everyone had a bed, plenty of things to do and enough space to spread out or gather to enjoy their stay. The management company were very helpful and quit to respond to any of our needs. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who asked my opinion.
