Escape to your own private oasis on the pristine shores of Torch Lake located just outside of picturesque Lake Linden in the charming community of Bootjack. Our modern newly updated home offers plenty of space for you and your loved ones to enjoy a luxurious extended vacation or a quick getaway to the breathtaking North.

With over 200 feet of stunning lake front access you'll be surrounded by natural beauty and tranquility from the moment you arrive. Wake up each morning, to panoramic views of the water and spend your days swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply soaking up the sun on your private dock. After a long day on the lake, relax with an locally made ILO electric sauna and soothe your muscles before heading off to bed.

Our well-appointed home features plenty of space, sleek contemporary furnishings, comfortable bedding and all the amenities you'll need to feel right at home. Whip up a gourmet meal in a fully equipped kitchen, gather in a special living room to watch a movie or enjoy dinner al fresco on the deck overlooking the lake.

Located just minutes from Lake Linden's top attractions you won't be short on things to see or do. Take a short drive to explore the stunning Hungarian or Houghton Douglas falls, or spend the afternoon hiking around the Bare Bluffs natural preserve. Families will love playing mini golf on a day trip to Copper Harbor or taking a short trip to Houghton county, historical museum to learn more about Michigan's rich history. Please note that the dock is portable and due to ice flowes we need to pull it in and out seasonaly. Depending on weather we try to get the dock in by mid June and ussaly pull by mid September. Please message us if you are plan on using the dock. We strive to overdeliver but at times the weather does not cooperate.

Beautiful view of the lake in winter! Perfect location to Nordic ski and skijor at Tech Trails and Swedetown. The internet service was unusually strong for the UP. We were able to stream multiple devices at the same time. Great communication with the owner, including during a blizzard. We were warm and had power. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

This is the perfect location for anyone looking to explore the northern part of the UP. The property is beautiful, secluded, and calming. Ever amenity you could ask for is included. They even have a great sauna with an attached room that includes a TV and small bar area. They view of the lake is magnificent and watching the sunrise over it makes it even more breathtaking. Located halfway between L'Anse and Copper Harbor, the location offers extremely convenient access to dozens of trails and scenic locations. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. This is absolutely our favorite place we have stayed in more than a dozen trips to the area. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax after a day of hiking or sightseeing, THIS is the place to stay!

This property is located on a beautiful lake with a big awesome fire pit! Inside: Generally clean and has a great kitchen space and appliances. Only downfalls were that the master bed and bunk beds were not very comfortable (master bed seems like it was slanted downwards at the head, bunk beds were just really hard), tv in every room except the master, and the pots/pans were in pretty rough shape. Otherwise, very cozy rental. They don’t seem to allow early or late check-in/out, so if that’s a need you might want to check other possibilities.

The house is clean and well stocked. The Kitchen has utensils and lots of pots and pans. The Master bedroom is spacious and nicely furnished. The master bath is great, love walk-in shower. Beautiful scenery , cool bar and sauna. Great time with family.

The entire stay was great. The place and property are very clean and has has all the amenities you would need. The fire pit is great, there is a place right down the road that sells firewood and restocks every day. The sauna is great, and the dock and water on the property is really nice. We brought our dog with us and he absolutely loved every second of it, it almost seemed like it was his vacation. The kitchen had anything you would need as far as utensils, bags, towels. We would use this place again for future trip and plan to do so. 10/10

Privacy, security and a sauna

My grandparents are from Finland and grew up in the Arrowhead of Minnesota. The first property my parents bought was used to build a sauna. The sauna at Torch Lake is authentic, clean and outstanding ... maybe the best I've ever used (sorry ancestors).

Visiting MTU Student

A fabulous place to stay while we were visiting our son at MTU. We made it a family vacation and the property was amazing. Plenty of room for our family of five. Super clean and with a lot of little nice extras, like games and plenty of kitchen essentials. We will have to come back to see summer and winter.

We stayed 2 nights in this cute little 3 bedroom in the wood & on a frozen lake. There was an unbelievable amount of snow that didn’t stop for us. Just beautiful
