Black Bear Cozy Cabin Chalet, Lakeview, kayaks disponibles pour utilisation

Il s'agit d'un chalet tout en bois situé sur un terrain entouré de lauriers des montagnes. Il y a un pont enveloppant avec beaucoup de meubles d'extérieur pour l'été. L'intérieur a une cheminée en brique à bois pour les nuits d'hiver. Le premier étage a un sol stratifié, un plafond cathédrale ouvert avec une chambre en mezzanine au deuxiÚme étage. Toute la maison est décorée dans un décor montagnard confortable, tout simplement parfait pour votre escapade en montagne.
Lors de votre séjour dans ce chalet, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Lake Harmony. Dans cet hébergement, vous profiterez de prestations de choix comme une laverie.

Perfect get away!

This chalet was great! Perfect location for Jack Frost and Big Boulder skiing. Perfect size for the four of us! Lias was very responsive! Would love to stay there again!

Excellent vacation

With COVID-19 we hadn’t had a vacation in two years! This was exactly the property we were looking for! Lisa is great and Donna was super helpful! Our newfound family of deer were a very welcome bonus! We are looking to retire in that area in a few years and your home and our experience there helped us confirm our decision. We hope to stay again and thank you so much!

Amazing!

Our family loved our stay in this cozy cabin and didn’t want to leave! Our arrival was warm and welcoming with a bottle of wine for the adults and a s’mores kit for the kids! We loved looking at all the decor that really made it feel comfy and gave it that lovely mountain feel. The Pac-Man game was a huge hit as well as the backyard deck for watching the deer. The location was close to all the activities and restaurants we enjoyed and we would definitely stay again!

Romantic Relaxing Getaway

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. Will definitely stay here again! Every little daily needed item was available - fully stocked kitchen, bathroom items, washer/dryer, cozy bed and blankets. Really enjoyed taking the kayaks out! The grill and deck. And our little deer and chip munks and humming birds! Highly recommend this home and wonderful owners.

Comfortable Home Base

My husband and I stayed at the property for an extended weekend in mid-June 2021. We wanted a "home base" while racing on the in-field road course at Pocono Raceway, and this property met our needs well. The owner Lisa communicated often and gifted us with a bottle of wine and a s'mores kit! The cabin was clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The neighborhood is convenient to restaurants and quiet at night. The cabin's decor is comfortable and cozy. We used our own sheets and towels, but those are provided as well as paper products. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to couples and small families. We look forward to renting again.

Cozy Cabin

It was a wonderful and comfy experience. Lisa and Donna were very supportive and helped to: facilitate my late arrival due travel related to highway accidents and re-routing; and, bringing our things in from the car due to my recent fall( wearing an immobilizer and laced supportive ankle brace). It was so relaxing after the the wedding festivities of my son and his wife! The AC and shower were amazing! Will definitely return !

Needing R & R time

I headed up to the Poconos for a little R& R. The cabin was lovely and fully equipped. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe staying there by myself. The only thing that would prevent me from coming back had nothing to do with the cabin itself, but the area was a little noisy with close neighbors, construction across the street and people stopping by the property. So not quite the isolation I had envisioned. However, Lisa was lovely to deal with and the cabin itself was great. I loved being able to light a fire and just enjoy a glass of wine. I recommend this place a jumping off point for the wonderful activities in the area.

Charming Lake Harmony cabin

We enjoyed our cabin stay by Lake Harmony at the Black Bear Cabin. The area is more if a neighborhood than a secluded cabin vibe, with houses near each other, just an FYI. But we enjoyed the location! We brought bikes and biked to breakfast and ice cream and all around the lake (well, I did). The main road is kind of busy but all the cars gave us space and were nice to us. We were able to walk down to the lake several times a day; our daughter enjoyed that. The cabin itself was perfect. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, and charming. The wrap-around porch was fun for our toddler to run around and gave us many places to sit. We enjoyed the mornings with the deer moseying around. Lisa, the owner, was responsive to our questions. We would come back to this place again!

Great time by the lake!

A great week in the chalet. The back deck gives plenty of space for relaxing; the front deck too. It’s right near the lake and a very quick (3 minute) drive to rent kayaks or head to a restaurant.

Lake Harmony cabin

I had a wonderful stay at this little cabin in the woods! It was cozy, quaint and decorated with so much character. A perfect location to spend some time alone as I did, but there’s so much to do in the area too so you can’t miss. The property is private and close to the lake. Bed was very comfortable and I slept great! Lisa provides everything you need for a wonderful stay and was very quick to communicate with any questions. She is concerned about your comfort and wants you to have an enjoyable stay. The only downside was a few construction areas in the neighborhood that could be noisy at some times of the day. But mornings and evenings were extremely quiet and relaxing. Can’t wait to come back with my husband for another stay-Thank you Lisa!

Best family trip yet!

It’s always difficult traveling with 2 very young children but we found so much to do at the cabin and lake harmony/surrounding area. Location of cabin and setting was perfect. Enjoyed sitting and playing outside in the yard and on the decks. Watched and fed the deer daily! Cleanliness, communication were perfect; house fully stocked. There was no great place to swim on lake harmony which we did not know before coming, assumed there were public beaches but there are not. There is a rocky boat launch area that you can swim from and we tried it but it was too difficult due to rocks. We went to 2 diff state parks nearby which had very nice sandy beaches so the no swimming at lake harmony didn’t bother us that much. We enjoyed the putt putt golf there, dining on the lake at nicks, and rented a paddle boat so there is still plenty to do. I recommend bringing a fan or two if you like to sleep with cooler temps. The loft was pretty hot and the back bedroom warm if we closed the door. The owner is aware and already speaking of adding another ac unit to make it more comfortable. We brought a fan so that in combo with the ceiling fans worked. Great place for all types of travelers including a family like ours with young children. There was even a new little toy box with surprises waiting for the kids. The owner clearly wants you to enjoy your stay. Watch the kiddies in the loft steps as the are a bit steep and not enclosed. We blocked the steps off with a chair. Have already recommended the cabin to friends!

Perfect getaway from routine life. So much to do in the area whether you’re the adventurous type or the relaxing type, there are activities for all. Lisa was an amazing host; very responsive to questions and concerns. Highly recommend staying here. Would come back! PS - wear a mask, social distance, and stay safe.

Anniversary Getaway

This was a fabulous private getaway for our fifth anniversary. Even though the cabins seem close together, it is very private and quiet. The cabin is very quaint and homey. Perfect for a couple or a small family. The lake is just a short walk away and absolutely beautiful. Lisa was very responsive to our questions. The back deck is a great little oasis! Make sure to feed the deer!!

Weekend getaway

Spent a nice long weekend at this cabin. Very nice location. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Spent a lot of time on the back deck with a fire in the fireplace. Nice place to spend some quiet time to relax. Thank you Lisa.
