We booked a weekend getaway in April and stayed at Great River Flats. Overall, we really appreciated the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful location. The views were absolutely lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the cozy couch and well stocked kitchen...it made our stay feel easy and relaxing once we got settled in.We did run into a hiccup at check-in, as our code didnât work initially. It took about 20 minutes to get a new one, which was a bit frustrating after traveling, but we were glad it was resolved and we were able to get in.The apartment itself was nice and mostly clean, though there were a few minor details that could use some attention, like some hair in the shower and a few loose door handles. Nothing major, just small things that stood out.There are also a few areas where some added touches could really enhance the experience. The balcony rocking chairs could use updating; they don't feel safe to sit in and having an extra chair or recliner in the living room would make the space even more comfortable. A shelf in the shower, a couple more towel hooks, and charging options in the bedroom would also be very helpful for guests. We also noticed the dining chairs may need some protection on the legs to help preserve the flooring.All in all, it's a beautiful place with a lot of potential, and we truly enjoyed our time there. With a few small improvements and added finishing touches, it could be a even more comfortable stay.
