Check-in was a breeze. No problems at all.The kitchen was better than most rentals I've stayed in, as far as ease of use and kitchen supplies. I did not cook there, except breakfast, and there were plenty of pots and pans, etc. Of course the Star Wars room was a hit with my grandkids, and the hot tub was large enough to accommodate four or five people.The location was great and there's ample parking for two vehicles. I look forward to enjoying the house again sometime.

We were so lucky to stay in the best quest house on the lake Arrowhead. I will recommend this property to all my friends. It is so clean, so cozy, so quiet. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you so much and we will be back for sure!

Beautiful home

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is so cozy and my husband and daughter all got to unwind and relax. We loved the hot tub especially the kiddo. Overall excellent experience!

Nicely renovated and appointed!

Very comfy beds and linens with lots of pillows - sleep is important to us! It was fantastic having a hot tub available which is not common in Lake Arrowhead. All in all very relaxing and the only things lacking were small little items like cling wrap/foil/tupperware. The cabin is a smaller than the photos make it appear, and the "Star Wars" room is a whole separate entrance - something to keep in mind if you have kids. Very close to the village which is handy. There is quite a bit of road noise and no view to speak of, but we still slept well and had access to Lake trails so it was a win! Thanks for a great stay and excellent communication.

Updated Cabin for Snow Days!

We took our kiddos up for some snow play/skii time as we have for many Christmas breaks and we really enjoyed our stay at this little gem! Super close to the village for food, groceries and charging our Tesla. The interior was very nicely updated and cozy but not cramped at all. Beds were very comfortable and the central heat kept us all warm. My youngest LOVED the downstairs Star Wars room and we spent lots of time playing the free arcade game! The home has tons of labels and instructions to make your stay super easy and the kitchen is well stocked with basic things (coffee pods, hot cocoa, spices). We love staying in this part of Arrowhead as it's a short drive to the village and Blue Jay for food/shops, Running Springs for the tubing park and Snow Valley for skiing, and you get to avoid the Big Bear crazy! Great home for families!

Cozy Lake Arrowhead Cabin

Our family, including two kids (ages 1 and 4) and a dog, greatly enjoyed our stay. The home is very welcoming and everything was clean and organized. Super close to Lake Arrowhead Village and Santa’s Village. Hope to be back!

Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely stay at the Forest Moon Chalet. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was how clean it was and all the linens, towels and blankets smelled freshly laundered and wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and linens were hotel quality. The decor has been recently updated and looks great. The location is very close to the Village, which was convenient. Maria, the property manager, was very helpful and quick with reponses. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend.

Very stylish, cozy cabin

We had a wonderful girls weekend in the woods. The jacuzzi was amazing and the beds are very comfortable. It’s smaller than the pictures make it seem, but it still worked. Wish we would have known we needed to bring our own firewood and that it was a Keurig instead of coffee pot. Other than that, it was a lovely weekend.

We had an amazing time at your beautiful cabin! The interior design is incredible! Tons of space and amenities, check in was easy too! Very close to Arrowhead Village for Oktoberfest :-) we will definitely be back!

Wonderful, clean, and cozy lake retreat

My family and I had a lovely stay. The property is as pictured, very well-maintained, and clean. It also had everything we needed to cook and eat, indoors and outdoors. We especially enjoyed the movie room (with thorough instructions on how to use it) and the peacefulness of the shaded deck. Property is very close to the village (5 minutes). You can hear a little road noise when on the deck, but it's so peaceful otherwise that we really didn't mind. We highly recommend this property to others and hope to stay again soon.

Stylish & Clean!

This was a great little house. Check in and communication with the host were a breeze. The house was very cozy and stylish throughout. Entry from the driveway to the front door is only 3 steps, which was a huge plus for us since my husband has mobility issues. Plenty of space for our family of 4, which included a 13 and 10 year old. We didn’t use the game room as much as we thought we would, but it was nice to have. The backyard was a little difficult to traverse for our senior arthritic dog, but we made it work. The location was a bit noisy. The view from the patio was of two homes (one on each side) and a busyish street. I could hear the neighbors more than I thought I would, one of which had an alarm that went off multiple times throughout the day. Not a super loud alarm, but the frequency was annoying none the less. This house doesn’t have central AC, which the owner DID mention in the listing, but I missed that detail. There are tower style fans throughout the home to help circulate the air, and 1 box fan. The house cools down fine at night, but during the peak of afternoon it got a bit hot for our taste. I suggested the owner bring in more box fans because they can be used in windows to push out hot air and pull in cold air. The only other suggestion I have is adding some larger coffee mugs. The ones in the home only hold 8 ounces even though the Keurig did up to 12 ounces. As a coffee drinker, I would appreciate a larger mug or two. I was happy we had a dishwasher because we did cook a lot. There is a grocery store approx. 10 mins away, so that was convenient. The laundry was also very helpful. Check out process was easy. All and all we enjoyed our stay.

A hidden gem!

I can not say enough good things about our family stay at The Forest Moon Chalet - it was truly magical! Tucked away and set back off the road, The Forest Moon Chalet is a private mountain getaway. The house was absolutely immaculate and no detail was spared, a true designer home with something for everyone in the family. We enjoyed coffee and meals on both decks, relaxing dips in the hot tub and hours of fun in the game room. I highly recommend visiting. The communication from the hosts was quick and they were so accommodating. We left with so many memories and we can't wait to visit again!
