Sitting and lounging areas are ample around the huge and very private, saltwater pool and spa. The misting system will keep you and your guests cool when the temperature rises, the outdoor dining bar with BBQ and seating for 6, fire pit, as well as plenty of tanning lounges and umbrellas means ample room to enjoy the property at any time of day. Enjoy evening cocktails, appetizers, and BBQ around the outdoor dining table, or sip your morning coffee from the shaded outdoor sofa.

The cozy living area off the kitchen is perfect for movie night or watching the game with a huge wrap-around couch, upgraded soundbar, and 65" 4K, Smart Samsung TV, with Netflix apps.

The laundry room off of the kitchen has a brand new, extra-large capacity washer and dryer. The downstairs bedroom features a twin trundle bed that comfortably sleeps two with its own TV for private viewing, as well as an open shelving closet and dresser to neatly store away your belongings.

As you make your way upstairs, the Master Suite features a Cal King bed, 65” TV for your private viewing, huge walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom including tub, shower, and dual vanities. The second King bedroom is a cozy and quiet retreat with a 45” Samsung TV and mirrored wardrobe. The third upstairs bedroom is the bunk room which features a unique and spacious Queen over Queen Bunk bed and twin bed. Polished off with another flatscreen TV, a large mirrored closet, and plenty of floor space, this room is great for adults and kids alike. The shared upstairs bathroom is complete with a shower/tub combo.

Located within walking distance to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, close to The Empire Polo Club (festival grounds for Coachella & Stagecoach) world-class golf courses, art venues, and so many other desert attractions. When you stay here at The Hawk’s Nest you will be in the best location!

**For guests staying in the cooler months - a $69/day pool/spa heating fee may be collected prior to your stay should you request the pool/spa to be heated. Heating fees have doubled as of Jan 1st, 2022 from SoCalGas. For long-term stays, we will work directly with you to ensure you are able to optimize the usage of the pool while also considering the usage of resources.

**For guests staying longer than 35 nights, we require a mid-stay cleaning every 21 nights in addition to your departure cleaning. The average cost is $150 and we will pass on our cost to you. This allows us to hopefully save in charging you the guest replacement costs for sheets, linens, etc., and allows you to spend more time enjoying your desert experience, and less time cleaning!

Guest Access:
Parking is plentiful with 3 spaces in the driveway and another space available in the garage. Should you need more, there is plenty of space at the curb in front.


The Hawk's Nest is a family-friendly and pet-friendly home, ready for entertainment, but NOT a CHILD PROOF home. There is not a fence around the pool and the home does feature a somewhat narrow staircase to the second floor. We offer a Pac-n-Play, children's books and games, pool toys and balls, corn hole, and other items are available for your enjoyment! We also have dog items at the home for your use - a large kennel, dog bowls, and a large dog bed.

Should you request concierge services such as grocery delivery prior to your arrival, please let us know and we can help arrange this little luxury! We want you to come to enjoy, relax and unwind at The Hawk's Nest! 

Local Recommendations:
For those who desire fresh air activities, you are a 4-minute drive from the Tennis Gardens or an easy 20-minute walk.  With so many restaurants and shops to explore right around the corner on Hwy III, it's easy to find what you are looking for!  Help yourself to the golf clubs and enjoy the many golf courses around town. The Palm Royale course is just around the corner and a great kid-friendly, executive (Par 3) course. We especially enjoy feeding the Giraffes at The Living Desert, our local zoo, and botanical gardens. Definitely a must-see! Adults and children alike will enjoy exploring the natural beauty of the area. Keep your eyes peeled for the sighting of the road runners when dining outside in Old Town La Quinta which is just a short 5-minute drive and is home to a number of boutique stores and restaurants. The world-famous La Quinta Resort is less than a 10-minute drive from The Hawk's Nest. We highly recommend their spa in addition to the resort's architecture, historic grounds, dining, boutique shopping, and golf, make it a must-see. The majestic Santa Rosa Mountains are at the foot of the Fred Wolff Bear Creek Nature Preserve which is a short drive away wanting even more shopping, dining, and entertainment? El Paseo in Palm Desert is always a go-to and is just 15 minutes away. Uptown shopping and restaurants galore! The Tommy Bahama restaurant is a fave and offers great views from their patio. Frieda and Wilma have the best breakfast - get there early!

If you are looking to explore the surrounding areas, for a good day trip try your luck at Casino Morongo, bring your jacket and ride The Palm Springs Aerial Tram to the top of the mountain, hike and explore Joshua Tree National Park or The Salton Sea, or make a day of some serious shopping at the Cabazon Outlets.
