Located in the fabulous Muirlands Point neighborhood of La Jolla, this beautiful contemporary residence was built new in 2006. It has been impeccably maintained as a family vacation home, has breathtaking panoramic ocean views, incredible custom finishes, dramatic curvilinear architecture, exceptional open contemporary floor plan, expansive outdoor spaces and seating with a large hot tub, grill, floor-to-ceiling glass, a large theatre room with rocking/reclining leather chairs, 4 bedrooms/5.5 baths plus private office with desk, printer, large monitor. Additional sleep areas on the 1st floor with pull-out Queen sofas in the TV room and a twin bed in the adjoining room. Photos show the 4th bedroom with a twin bed, however, now there is a Full Bed, CA King in the master, CA King in 2nd, and Queen in 3rd. The master bedroom has a double shower and hot tub. The garage has Tesla charger.
The home has been owned by the family as a vacation home for 10 years and is now being rented for the first time.

Like a spa!

Our family of seven adults stayed at this beautiful five bedroom two story home in La Jolla, in the Muirlands area near Mount Soledad. Check in was a breeze. There was lots of room for parking, Lydia, our host, was always responsive, even when she was traveling! There were minimal issues with any of the appliances in the house, And when there was an issue, somebody was sent to fix it right away. The home had great views from all the patios, with a 180 degree view of the coastline, including Mission, Pacific Beach. and La Jolla Cove. All the beds were roomy and comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent throughout the house, and there were also room fans. The master bedroom was extremely spacious. Keep in mind that the owners occasionally come back to the house, so there is no master bedroom closet. However, a stand for clothing is included, and a large bureau for clothes also was included in the room. There’s lots of storage, so needing a closet is truly unnecessary. Three of the other bedrooms had walk-in closets, and two of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms. There is a room downstairs that is a bunkbed bedroom as well as a larger space with pull out sofas. This would be perfect for teenagers such as cousins that would want to spend some alone time together. Downstairs also is a movie room for viewing either streaming on a smart TV or DVD movies. We had a beautiful stay. I would highly recommend this home.

A Perfect Vacation

The property was exactly as advertised. It had absolutely stunning views from the expansive windows. We had 3 groups of our kids and grandkids over our 3 week stay. Plenty of room for all of us. Big and well appointed kitchen, lots of dining areas, large and comfortable bedrooms. Plentiful towels and linens. Super quiet neighborhood, super convenient to downtown La Jolla and San Diego. The most pleasant surprise was the huge screen in the movie theater. We had a lot of fun watching games and movies. Our host was attentive without being over bearing. It really was an incredible house and stay and we would rent it again in a second.

Heaven on Earth

We came here from New York for my 59 th birthday on Cinco de Mayo with my husband and 3 adult children ranging from 24-27 years old .(and my son’s girlfriend ) It was just amazing!!! Lidija was awesome too !She was always so helpful and reachable (got back to me with any questions or suggestions.) We all walked in and our jaws dropped ! The views are spectacular of La Jolla and Catalina island ! The house is beautiful and spacious ! Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom . Lidija had a wine basket filled with snacks for my family and I to start my birthday celebration and was much appreciated ! The house has everything you can possibly need . Kitchen is fully equipped ( BBQ grill ) The jacuzzi was a hit as well as the sunsets over the Pacific Ocean! We did enjoy the movie room at night , especially watching the NY Rangers Ice Hockey team win :)! The house is in a beautiful neighborhood; Great for morning walks or jogs . Also it is centrally located by Pacific, Windnsea, and Mission Beach , La Jolla cove( Sea lions ) Balboa park and Padres Stadium . My husband and sons went golfing at Torrey Pines and after we all watched the paragliders along the coast. Great night life for my twenty year olds and a quick Uber drive away. Great restaurants near by. There is a welcome book that gives all suggestions and information as well . Truly was a trip to remember at this beautiful home away from home , just heaven on earth ! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Tranquil setting

Beautiful setting with gorgeous views. Minutes to downtown La Jolla. Our family was in for our son's wedding. Plenty of room. We really enjoyed everyone getting to stay together. Peaceful neighborhood. Very relaxing.

Beautiful Property

We and our sons families stayed here in celebration of my wife’s birthday and what a very nice property in which to celebrate! Beautiful setting, incredible space for a large group and well appointed. We loved the theater room, the hot tub and the incredible daily views of the Pacific. Beds were awesome and bedrooms were large. A bit disappointed by a mechanical issue with the hot tub on first day and some minor kitchen issues (ice maker/dispenser and inadequate trash containers), but nothing major. We’d stay again if we ever decide to return to the area!

Family getaway

The house and it's amenities were beautiful and so enjoyable for our entire family. Our group included young children, teenagers and adults. The host was very helpful and thoughtful. They left us an amazing treat for breakfast and locally sourced coffee. We felt right at home and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and amazing views!

Beautiful spacious house with gorgeous views

We loved this house! The views are absolutely incredible and the host was extremely accommodating and responsive. The house is in immaculate condition and had everything we needed such as cooking supplies, condiments, toiletries, plenty of towels, and much more. We would definitely stay here again.
