Just steps from famous Windansea Beach - this oceanfront 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom penthouse, perfectly named Beach Views, hosting endless sweeping ocean views makes the perfect place to enjoy a vacation escape with family and friends! Vast ocean views from every window in the home, surfers and playful marine life to observe, easy beach access, and close proximity to coffee shops and restaurants are all yours in this modern 1490 SF, 3rd story penthouse condo that comfortably sleeps 4 in beds, or 6 with the queen size sofa sleeper (with the best view in the house!).

This penthouse home, serviced by an elevator, sits at the edge of the Pacific Ocean so there are NO obstructions to the beauty of the water, the shore and sunsets, the surfers, and the soothing sounds of the waves and surf.

A spacious modern living room hosts ocean views, a large smart flat screen TV, and comfortable seating to soak it all in. A comfortable dining room with seating for 6 is accompanied by a modern kitchen, with large kitchen island (great for working remote or a snack bar!), includes everything you need to create meals and snacks for everyone at any time.
The master king bedroom has a stunning ocean view, a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable, and a bath with a large walk-in shower. There is also a queen guest bedroom with a shared hallway bath. Both bedrooms have portable AC units (PARTIAL AC), easily available in the home for your use, should you desire cooler days or nights. Both mattresses in the bedrooms are soft and the sleeper sofa mattress is firm.
Additional amenities include a washer and dryer for your convenience, WIFI, and cable and a garage parking space.
This home is a treasure if you want to experience sweeping ocean views and be able to observe all the delights the Pacific Ocean offers right in front of you. Oh, and those beautiful sunsets - breathtaking! Sit on top of the world watching the ocean come alive with all of its motions and sea life.

There are additional beaches close by, as is freeway access, so you can easily enjoy some of San Diego's world-class attractions such as The San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and so much more. Legoland and the Safari Animal Park are just a 40-minute drive away too.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS PROPERTY:
This property will allow up to 5 adults, or up to 6 with children in the mix. We ask that you please ensure your group fits this dynamic before booking.
No smoking is allowed inside or outside any of our properties. NO EXCEPTIONS!
There is no outside area to this rental so there is also no BBQ available.
There is an elevator and wheelchair access to this home but there may be stairs to the beach, so it may not be appropriate for everyone.
This historic building does not have central AC but portable units are available for use in the bedrooms.
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quiet groups. Our rental agreement includes a NO tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with us.
This home is equipped with exterior surveillance & decibel meters, as required by local city noise ordinance. Please note that this home has a camera facing the front door and there is a noise monitor.

Parking notes: There is one space available within the closed garage and one space is permitted outside the individual garage door tandem. The garage is shallow (6ft height MAX, 8ft width); no lifted cars or large trucks will fit. Any height is OK outside the garage, as this is uncovered, but cannot exceed 20ft in length. Overnight street parking is also permitted.
You must be 25 years or older to rent this property.


Your reservation will be confirmed once the Occupancy Agreement has been signed and the initial payment has been received. Photo ID and Credit Card photo verification required to complete booking.
We do not accept American Express & Discover.
San Diego Vacation Rentals Cancellation Policy and Pet Fee Policy supersedes the policies of VRBO and AirBnb.
Our cancellation policy will allow you to cancel your reservation up to 30 days prior to your arrival. There is a cancellation fee of 10% of the total payment or $300, whichever is higher. If you cancel your reservation within 30 days of your arrival, there are NO REFUNDS. If you feel that this may cause an issue with your travel itinerary and availability, please consider Travel Insurance.

The property was fantastic and exactly as described. The ocean view was absolutely stunning—we actually hurried back just to make sure we didn’t miss the sunset. Waking up to the full moon was a special bonus and made the whole stay feel like a true, peaceful escape.The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and having a garage was a great perk. The place was spotless and very comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made it feel even more open and spacious than the photos suggested.

Incredible place! Perhaps the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. The bottom layer of windows open, so we sat mesmerized by the views of the ocean and listening to the lapping of the waves. Can't recommend this place enough! We loved our escape to La Jolla and this place was the key reason.

Wow! You cannot find better views than this. Absolute perfection. Some of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen. We saw so many cool things just outside the windows from the comfort of the couch: full double rainbows, water spouts, lots of surfing and incredible sunsets. The place itself is well located in La Jolla and is very well taken care of. This is a host that cares about your stay and it shows. Simple and minimal check out requirements. We cant wait to return.

Views are stunning. The kitchen was complete with everything needed . The parking was the best we've experienced in La Jolla with a car space inside the garage and just outside the automatic garage door. My only issue was the beds were not at all firm and with my back pain required me to sleep on the very comfortable couch. For some people the beds might be fine. The cleanliness was unparalleled. Location to the best restaurants and beach was great. Sit back and watch the surfers surf one of their favorite places just outside the floor to ceiling window.We will stay again on our next trip out to La Jolla.Much thanks to the local property manager who was very punctual and professional

You couldn’t ask for a more perfect view!

The condo was amazing. The views were stunning. We had an awesome time. Only thing negative is that no full size SUV will fit in the garage. The driveway is too steep. You just have to park in front of the garage. And you have to understand the location. You are off the beaten path a ways and it’s a hump to get to anything. Just wanted to leave an honest review. I’m just picking at perfect. I’m sure we will be back.

This was one of my very favorite VRBO stays. A unit that offers the ultimate in relaxation. You had the option of sitting with the crowds on the beach or staying in your unit and both were equally beautiful. Meals,if eatten out, were a block away and morning walks were bliss. We will be back!
