Gousses énormes de dauphins sauvages visitent la région chaque matin pour nourrir et nous pouvons facilement organiser une excursion à nager avec eux suivi d'un déjeuner délicieux fruits de mer sur l'île au Benetiers. Ces studios contemporains [45m2] sont écologique, décoré en utilisant des concepts minimales et des tons neutres et avoir la sensation d'un hôtel 4 étoiles de qualité. Une terrasse commune sur le toit magnifique a des vues spectaculaires dans toutes les directions avec transat et un géant rafraîchir douche. Grande salle à manger de barbecue. Parfait pour les couchers de soleil et les astronomes de espaces extérieurs de cette élégante propriété ont été créés à la romance au cœur. My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay in Trish's studio. The studio has the basics (no oven btw) and the view from the balcony is absolutely fine. You need a car to get to the beach, but Le Morne beach is fantastic - so worth the 5-7 mins drive. There is a supermarket in La Gaulette with all essentials - 5 mins drive away only. Trish was friendly and welcoming - and I must admit that the "Swimming with Dolphins trip" was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend staying here.

Location bien située pour rayonner dans le sud et dans l'ouest

Bien accueillis par l'employée de Trish. L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien entretenu (ménage tous les trois jours). Il est prévu plutôt pour des vacanciers désirant prendre leurs repas à l'extérieur car l'équipement en vaisselle est sommaire. Magnifiques couchers de soleil avec vue sur le Morne à partir du toit terrasse et de la terrasse du studio. Le calme dans le quartier n'a pas toujours été au rendez- vous : aboiements de chiens du quartier la nuit. Emplacement idéal pour rayonner dans le sud et l'ouest de l'île.

L'appartement est exactement comme sur les photos, il est spacieux, propre, le ménage est fait souvent, la rue est calme et la vue est très belle. La terrasse sur le toit est bien agréable pour les soirées barbecue et apéritifs. Le WIFI fonctionne très bien. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et réactifs aux demandes. Nous avons aussi loué un kayak pour se rendre à l'ile du bénitier, et nous conseillons d'y aller à partir de 14 heures car vous aurez l'ile pour vous ! Les bateaux de touristes seront repartis quand vous débarquerez sur l'ile. Tout est à coté (kite surf, supermarché, take away). Nous avons été très satisfaits de de séjour.

Die Vermieter Trish und Kev sind sehr aufmerksame, äußerst hilfsbereite und liebenswerte Gastgeber. Auch das kleinste und größte Problem wird sofort gelöst. Die Unterkunft entspricht den Darstellungen. Sehr angenehm sind die Serviceleistungen im Haus selbst (regelmäßige Reinigung und Wäschewechsel. Hier erhält man ein sogenanntes Komplettpaket.

Ein tolles Appartement, bestens ausgestattet in toller und ruhiger Lage. Die Vermieter Trish und Kev sind absolut hilfsbereit und jederzeit per whats app erreichbar. Wir sind sehr liebenswert empfangen worden und konnten das Appartement schon eher beziehen als vereinbart. Das Appartement hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die schlichte, stilvolle und gleichzeitig zweckmäßige Einrichtung. Einfach toll. Das geräumige Zimmer, das große komfortable Bett mit den super Matratzen und das große Badezimmer waren einfach toll. Dazu der schöne Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer und den le Morne...fantastisch. Der Rundum Blick vom Dach einfach nur großartig. Hier konnte mann den Tag mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang toll ausklingen lassen. Die FeWo entspricht den Bildern. Das Appartement wurde alle 2 Tage gereinigt. Die Küche war zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Nützliches Infomaterial mit Tips für die Umgebung lag bereit. Mit hilfreichen Tips per whats app und und verschiedenen Optionen von Freizeit Angeboten wurden wir von Trish und Kev zusätzlich gut informiert. Sie haben uns auch einen Mietwagen zu guten Konditionen vermittelt. Supermarkt, Restaurants und Surfshops sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und es gibt auch eine Bushaltestelle an der Hauptstrasse. Wir würde hier jederzeit wieder buchen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Perfection!

This review is long overdue and that is in part due to the fact that after leaving this place, you’ll have a hard time accepting it. It’s just that lovely! My boyfriend and I spent a little over 2 months in Mauritius and while our original booking with Trish and Kev was only for a week, we ending up booking our entire stay with them. So we were lucky enough to stay in a number of their apartments, all of which are perfect for any length of stay. To start, their property is easily in the best area of the island. It’s a safe and quiet residential community. After much exploration and hearing the opinions of other guests, We wouldn’t suggest staying far from Le Morne beach. You’re a short drive to the most beautiful beaches of the island as well as a fully stocked grocery store. I will say that a car is a must though, as you’ll undoubtedly want to explore the rest of the island. Luckily you can rent a car from Trish and Kev! The apartment is simple, but lovely. Tastefully decorated with natural tones, there’s more than enough space for two. You’ve got a large closet with a safe to hold your valuables, a bathroom much larger than typical American bathrooms, and AC should you choose. We opted for the sea breeze, sleeping with our patio doors open every night. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook yourself. If you can’t find something, just ask! Or if you prefer to eat out, there are a number of restaurants worth visiting close by. The cleaning ladies do a wonderful job of keeping the place spotless. No matter which apartment you’re in, you have a lovely private terrace for breath taking views of the sunset. For the sunrise, be sure to head up to the roof deck one morning for a full view. Dinner up there is lovely as well. Internet was a priority since we work remote. We had a few hiccups, which were addressed immediately so we were able to work without interruption. Before leaving, the town north of here was getting fiber optic cable, so surely it will be available here soon. As for activities outside of the apartment, Trish and Kev are a wonderful resource, happy to help research and book any type of excursion, from a private beach dinner to swimming with dolphins. I can’t recommend this place enough! You’ll be extremely pleased with yourself. Trish and Kev made our stay wonderful by not only being wonderful and thorough hosts, but lovely people. We hope to visit our friends again soon!

Amazing experience, welcoming & great value!

Our experience at Beautique studios started off with the big smiling welcoming face of Kev at the airport, and continued when we met Trish at the studios. Trish and Kev are the warm & friendly owners of the studios who really make you feel welcome. The studios are really spacious & well done, ours had a great balcony where we could watch the sunset each evening over Le Morne, the mountain, and the little Mauritian village. The dolphin trip they organised is an early 6am start, but worth the pain, it was an unbelievable experience, swimming close enough to the dolphins that you could look them in the eye and hear their sounds as they swam around you. We spent 9 nights there and enjoyed every day. Schönes Apartment mit gutem Ausblick

Wir hatten ein schöne Zeit in dem Apartment.Es ist alles da was man braucht.Eine kleine Küche mit einer Grundausstattung, ein geräumiges Bad, ein großer Schlafraum mit Safe und ein Balkon mit Meerblick.Oben auf dem Dach war die Aussicht sehr sehenswert,besonders beim Sonnenuntergang.Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt,es gibt sogar einen guten Wlan Empfang. Die Hausbesitzerin Trisha gibt sogar super Tipps wo man abends gut zum Essen gehen kann bzw. hat auch genug Ratschläge für Ausflüge. Der Ort ist zwar klein, bietet aber einige Restaurants und es gibt sogar einen Supermarkt.Ein Auto ist ein muss,wenn man vieles im Alleingang sehen möchte.Unser Fazit: Es ist ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für verschiedenste Ausflüge im Süden der Insel

Amazing!

We stayed in studio 2 for 12 nights and it turned out to be one of the highlights of out trip! There are less tourists in La Gaulette by comparison to the North and the place is located within a suburban area so you actually experience an authentic community and culture. Staying in the top studio helped protect us from the mosquito's, the room was very private, very spacious and clean with breath taking views. Watching the sunset on the rooftop was amazing and relaxing, to be able to chill on the beds and have a few drinks. The location is ideal as long as you have a car; close to the shops, the stunning beach of Le Morne, a short drive to Big Willys sports bar and lots of activities around Chamarel. The owners, Trish and Rav are such lovely people as well, they helped us out a lot and it was good that they were around here and there as we always had questions that needed answers. You couldn't ask for better hosts honestly! When we come back to Mauritius we will definitely be contacting these guys to stay here again :)

Perfect spot for an intimate & relaxed getaway.

The spot was simple and lovely... perfect for a couple wanting to have amenities of home but a more romantic environment. Beautiful balconies, nice design, a great kitchen, comfortable bed... everything was great. We felt completely taken care of the entire time by Victor and others, but had complete privacy. Great location nearby Le Morne for kiteboarding and beautiful beaches. Can walk into La Gaulette, but recommend for sure hiring a car while you're there as you'll want to explore the rest of the island. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

wonderful place to stay

the Appartement ist very spaceous, clean and modern. from the Roof you have a wonderfull view ower the place. the wooden bed is very comfortable and you can enjoy the stars during the night. Victor the Manager is very very friendly and will organise a lot of things for you. Unfortunately we stayed only 5 nights there. We will absolutely recomend this Appartements for your Holidays.

A fantastic restful break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay two week stay in Studio 2, which contained all that we needed and was as advertised, with the added bonus of a daily cleaner (except on Sundays). We highly recommend the studios for their location, amenities and tranquil setting - a car is a necessity. We went for lovely drives to out of the way beaches, to cafes, restaurants and of couse supermarkets. Victor the caretaker collected us from the Airport and took us back again on our departure day when he came for us at 4.00 a.m. - what a treasure. The only downside was the mosquitos in an otherwise fantastic two week stay. Don't forget to star gaze on the roof - apply mosquito protection before going up there !

"Welcome to Paradise.."

A beautiful and well-maintained apartment (love the views, golden flowers, rooftop daybeds) with a great crew of people. Special thanks to manager Victor, housecleaner Amla and tourguide Ken for being the warm welcome and my guides. A car is a must on the island. It’s an easy way to get around and see the island/beauty it has to offer. Mauritians drive on the left and it takes a few moments to get used to their driving style (overtake and honk a lot and you’re fine:). The car gave me the chance to go see places as: - Le Morne: just around the corner, with world famous kite surfing and diving spots, and luscious white sandy beaches and blue ocean (spot is world heritage listed) perfect for snorkelling, sunbathing and water sports; - Chamarel, Black River Gorges Natural Park, Grand Bassin, waterfalls: visit Chamarel rum distillery for a tour/rum tastings, visit Grand Bassin to learn about (Hindu) religions/Gods, climb the stairs to the Monkey God (‘Hanuman’, God for strength/courage) for spectacular views; - Grand Gaube: stay at resort ‘Veranda Paul et Virginie’ for a few days to experience the romantic resort lifestyle and for scuba diving go visit (next doors) resort La Marina and its diving centre ‘Emperator’ (ask for owner Ludovic!) which will take you to the best spots in the North. You can book these dives at the front desk of Paul et Virginie or by going to La Marina where you find the Emperator diving centre at the water front; - Grand Baie: touristy area of the North, good for shopping, with many restaurants and bars; - Flic en Flac/Tamarin: great for scuba diving, the ‘Cathedrale’ is an absolute must for Advanced divers, so is ‘Passe Jean Jacques’ in Le Morne, and ‘Coin de Mire’ (wreck dive) in Grand Gaube; - Port Louis: busy capital, go visit the markets; - The South: take the coastal road from La Gaulette to Mahebourg. You will find yourself driving around in Paradise.. Being a female traveller/diver by myself, I absolutely loved Mauritius, the people, the culture, the beaches, ocean and diving, the food, the rum!, and will definitely come back to the island and stay at this apartment again! Due to a great hosts, owner (friendly, easy and quick to communicate with), apartment and the amazing crew of people. 10/10 Its a great place to stay studio perfect with roof top terrace with 360 degree views great for watching stars and fruit bats at night. Cleaner comes everyday. The village has everything you need, people are very friendly. The use of bikes was great, local bus very cheap and easy to use, very cheap to eat. Owner very helpful. Would go back again.

12 jours de reve à Maurice au calme chez Trisha. Un accueil excellent, des hotes professionnels et efficaces et une mention speciale pour le petit bouquet de fleurs tropicales discretement changé tous les jours par la femme de menage. Que demandez de plus?! Bientot 4 studios disponibles, au pied du Morne, pres des belles plages du Sud de l'Ile ou l'on peut kiter toute la journée!!!, et au depart des randonnées du PN. Nous esperons qu'il y en aura un de libre quand nous nous deciderons à retourner nous ressourcer au soleil ! Merci!

Cotteau Raffin - Le Morne

We really enjoyed the stay at Beautique Studios and in the southwest of Mauritius! Nature is beautiful with the mountains (most beautiful part of the island, I think) and the beaches on the peninsula are not so crowded and just wonderful! The apartment was great, just as described,well-maintained and the housekeeper and the housemaid did an excellent job. Everything you need he would organise in a few minutes. But since the whole area is not that touristical yet, you´re also a bit depended on him, because there are not so many offers. This is not bad, because he is nice and does a good job, but without him it´s a bit tough to get around and organize things on your own down there. But thats why Victor is there for you! What you really might consider and plan into your budget is renting a car or scooter to have your freedom to do and go where you want. Even for the supermarket to do your groceries (in the heat it can be an exhausting walk). Then bargain a bit with the prices, I think we paid too much for a scooter (800Rs a day - in the north it was much cheaper, but there is also more competition and offers). Taking busses also works, is much cheaper, but costs you more time and patience and for the beaches on the peninsula it doesn´t work. We really enjoyed the apartment and the roof terrace, also the advices on the homepage were helpful, for the restaurants for example. Note that most of them are only open for lunch! The most authentic, nicest and cheapest is definitely Liverpool Snack in La Gaulette. If you want to have peace, freedom and individuality this place is perfect! It doesn´t really offer all the tourist attractions like the north and doesn´t have a lot of restaurants, nothing really to do at night, but we didn´t miss it and felt really comfortable down there. We would definitely return to that place and the village and recommend to stay there! It really makes you come down and feel satisfied. The contact with the owner was also always very nice, comforting and helpful. We would like to thank them again!!!

Beautiful calm near sights in the South

In the Beautique Studios everything was really super, this accomodation was a good choice!! It was calm and clean with modern atmosphere. We could see from the balcony into the lives of the local people, they played Pétang ... :) It was very close the sights, for example La Morne, Chamarel, Vanille Crocodile Park, Black River Nationale Park, Casela lion walk ... We spent half our holiday there (6 days), the other half (6 days) in Grand Bay in the North, because we did not want to spend much time on the car, but we want to see complete Mauritius. :) So we liked the southern part of island much better, the nature, the sights, the peace... we saw wild monkeys, fruit bats, parrots, pink pigeons in the nature (no in cage!) ..., but the truth is, however, the beaches are more beautiful in the North (but in the North nothing else is, unless crowd and a lot of dirt). Therefore: I think the best if you have two accomodations, one from South (to explore the beautiful nature), and one from North (bathing on the beautiful beaches). And in the South the best choice is La Galette, and the Beautique Studios!! If I would choose again, I would choose it again! :) It was super!! We were very satisfied with everything.
