Return visit this Labor Day weekend not disappointed

We had spent Labor Day Weekend here last year and were excited to reserve this same property for our large family. This house accommodated our large family with a fully equipped kitchen, large open eating areas, along with large open family area. The lower level had a large game room to accommodate all ages. The large bunk room was loved by all the cousins. Enjoyed by all was a large flat grass area where we were able to play corn hole, enjoy the hot tub, and fire pit. We enjoyed floating and swimming down at the dock and utilizing the paddle boards. This property does not disappoint. We highly recommend.

Beautiful home in the perfect location on the lake near all the marinas. Driveway and path to dock is super steep. If you have older family members it would be smart to bring a golf cart or stay somewhere more flat.

Perfect spot for our family vacation

The house had plenty of space for our large group. Beautiful views, loved the deck spaces. Walk down to the dock was a little steeper than I thought but made for good exercise throughout the week. Had to bring a lot of our own supplies- TP, paper towels and even our own bath towels which was a bit of a hassle. Overall we had an amazing week though. Communication with owner was quick and easy. We love Norris Lake!

Norris Lake House Review

John's communication was amazing which is a huge part of getting in and out of the VRBO. House was amazing. Very spacious and open for our group. We really enjoyed our time and hope to book this spot again as it is a great middle point between Shang Hai and Sugar Hallow.

Amazing lake house which accommodated our multi generation family reunion

We were amazed by how spacious this beautiful lake home was. The accommodations were perfect for our large family. The suites and large bunk room worked out well for our large group. There was a large open living space on the first floor including fully equipped kitchen, dining, and family area with great views of the lake. The balcony stretched across the entire back of the lake house providing comfortable seating and multiple outdoor dining tables for family time and relaxing view. There is a lower-level game room and flat grass area where many of us enjoyed some corn hole and time in the large hot tub. The boat dock had a jumping platform and easily accommodated our two pontoons and wave runner. The lake house was about a 5-minute boat ride to Shanghai Marina. This will be our annual family vacation spot. Highly recommend.

Wonderful family getaway to Norris Lake

Wow, what an absolutely beautiful lake home! We arrived for a family get together and we were blown away by how well it accommodated everyone in our large group. Some of the highlights were: Great location near Shanghai Marina for easy access to a boat rental. Expansive kitchen/living/dining area perfect for cooking meals together. Gorgeous, relaxing views from the balcony and very comfortable outdoor seating with two outdoor dining tables. Boat dock with a jumping platform. Lower level game room with walkout access to a flat, private, grassy area for the kids to play, as well as a hot tub and swings to enjoy. Comfortable beds and the multiple suites allowed us to all be together but to have plenty of privacy. We loved every minute of our time here and really enjoyed all that this property had to offer. Would 100% stay here again and would highly recommend.

Weekend Getaway

Looking to get away...Look no further than Laughalot Lakeside! The view is gorgeous, the house is highly functional for all age ranges, tons of space including sleeping accommodations, plenty of bathrooms, beautiful deck for enjoying morning cup of coffee or a happy hour cocktail, hot tub for relaxing, dish network tv for when it's time to wind down, and a kitchen with all kinds of gadgets to cook and enjoy meals. We will definitely be guests again in the near future and of course, we enjoyed the lake as well. We all agree it is a 5 Star Resort-like Stay!
