Letâs start with the positive⊠Check in was super easy! Directions were great. The lake is beautiful and we had so much fun on the double dock. The kids loved the water slide and jumping off the top. We paid extra for the water package and used the kayaks, the huge pad, and paddle boards every day. There was plenty of space for our large group of 19. We especially appreciated that every bedroom had its own bathroom! Two dishwashers and two refrigerators were so helpful!Now to the not so goodâŠWe stayed here years ago and loved it. Since then, the furnishings have really gone downhill. One of the couches was so lumpy it was hard to sit on! Most of the beds were not very comfortable. The knives in the kitchen were super dull, the non stick and some of the cookware wasnât very clean. When we walked in it seemed clean. But it could use a deep clean. Maybe it was because we were there in August and it had been cleaned well at the beginning of the season, but there were spider webs and dirty cupboards. There were several steps leading down to the water that were rotted and one of the boards in the upper dock as well. The host was very responsive when I texted about that and had someone fix them quickly, which I appreciated. She said they were going to do a major repair at the end of the season, but my son in law stepped on two different boards that broke under his feet! All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but for the amount of money for one week, I guess we expected a little more.
