Ce cottage de style plantation hawaïenne conçu sur mesure est situé juste à cÎté de la plage de Brennecke du parc de Poipu Beach, à 100 pas de la plage!

Cette maison spacieuse a Ă©tĂ© conçue et construite en 2013 pour ĂȘtre la retraite de vacances idĂ©ale - son style de plantation lui permet de se fondre dans le quartier historique, tout en offrant tout le luxe moderne. L'extĂ©rieur est un espace barbecue, une douche de jardin accessible depuis la salle de bain principale ou de l'extĂ©rieur, et sous l'arbre Plumeria est un spa spa paysager de 5 personnes. Profitez des 2 suites principales avec lits king-size moelleux, tĂ©lĂ©viseurs Ă  Ă©cran plat, baignoire sur piĂ©destal et douche de jardin extĂ©rieure, et laveuse et sĂ©cheuse Ă  chargement frontal pleine grandeur. La grande piĂšce Ă  aire ouverte s'ouvre sur la grande vĂ©randa avec 22 pieds de portes pliantes de 8 pieds de haut, et les murs de 9 1/2 pieds de haut, les plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s, les grandes fenĂȘtres Ă  double battant et les ventilateurs de plafond gardent l'endroit frais et frais. La cuisine est Ă©quipĂ©e d'un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur Ă  porte pleine grandeur, d'un lave-vaisselle silencieux, d'une cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz, d'un garde-manger walk-in, de comptoirs en granit, de rayonnages ouverts et entiĂšrement approvisionnĂ© (mĂȘme avec une presse française!). Le systĂšme audio Ă  travers le salon ainsi que la vĂ©randa sont configurĂ©s pour regarder la tĂ©lĂ©vision avec son surround, Ă©couter Pandora, ou vous pouvez Ă©couter sans fil votre propre collection de musique depuis votre smartphone. This property was amazing. From the location and proximity to Poipu Beach, to the design and amenities, we couldn’t have found a better place to stay during our trip to to Kauai.Besides the beach that lay just steps away from the house, the covered porch tended to be the place where we spent the most time. With the accordion doors open, and the ocean breeze, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our getaway.

Beautiful home and location

Our stay at the beach cottage was wonderful. The home is beautiful, thoughtfully furnished and is so close to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space, the air conditioned bedrooms and the outdoor shower. There are enough boogie boards for the whole family, which we used daily at the beach. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Kauai.

Karen and Brent’s cottage was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed with the attention to detail and how beautifully done everything was. The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, and they had all the essentials for enjoying the beach.Go to Kalapaki Joe’s for happy hour—great deals, delicious food, and excellent drinks. We loved watching the turtles come up on the beach at night—such a special experience.This was truly one of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Huge thanks to Karen and Brent for sharing this beautiful space with us. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Wouldn’t change a thing!

If you’re staying in Kauai, you can’t beat this home and its location. It’s a beautiful home. The walk to the beach is less than 2 minutes, max. All beach supplies (boogie boards, chairs, wagon to transport) are provided.The deck is large and perfect for dining. Hot tub, outdoor shower, amenities . We did walk to the clubhouse (15 minutes or so) to use the pool, work out club and restaurant (reasonably priced in comparison to some surrounding establishments) a few times. Would highly recommend!

Great house to explore Kauai from!

The house is in a great location on the south side of the island - just a few steps away from Brenneke's Beach & Poipu Beach. Was perfect for my husband and our teen daughters. Used the gas grill and beach gear. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working during our stay - a main reason why we booked this house. But, the owner tried to get it fixed as soon as he was made aware of the situation, but wasn't able to get the parts in time, so he did refund us 1 night stay - which helped make the situation better. Definitely would recommend to anyone traveling to Kauai. A great place to explore and relax from.

No air conditioning for living room & kitchen.

We stayed 6 nights in early May. In the afternoon and early evenings the west facing porch is stiflingly hot and humid. It was very pleasant in the morning and late evenings with a nice coastal breeze. The nearby beach is quite nice. After a day on the local beaches it would have been nice to come home to a cool house for dinner and relaxation. The living room and kitchen were oppressively hot and humid. Mowers and leaf blowers roared 2 of the 6 afternoons. Thank goodness there were wall mounted air conditioners in the bedrooms. We ate our dinner in the bedrooms for relief from the heat. This review is not all bad. The house was nicely equipped and clean with an outdoor shower to shake the sand.

Amazing in all aspects

This place is spectacular. Everything about it is perfect. First it is within walking distance to the ocean...now you can't see the ocean but you can easily walk to it. This VRBO is outfitted in amazing fashion. The quality of everything is superb and definitely on the higher end of the spectrum. All the appliances were great and in brand new condition (dishwasher, fridge, W/D, iron, blender, vacuum..miele!) Loved the ease of the kitchen and size. We also loved the open air accordion doors that opened up the living room, dining room and kitchen to the lanai. It made the area so much larger and cooler with the breeze. There are also sunshades around the lanai to help with direct sunlight and provides some privacy. Furniture was super cute and comfortable both in the house and on the lanai. Both bedrooms had great large walk in closets with lots of drawer and hanging space. The walk in showers were wonderful and one room has both the shower and stand alone tub and an access to the outdoor shower. King beds were very comfortable and the wall AC really helped keep the bedrooms cooler for sleeping.Nice hot tub and a wagon with beach chairs and boogie boards and snorkel stuff Also you have access to the cabana club fitness center which was great with a ton of amenities! Check that place out for sure! I would highly recommend this place and would go back anytime I am in poipu. Brent was also very responsive, helpful and willing to work with us.

Perfection in Po'ipƫ

Perfection might seem like hyperbole in a review, but really that is all that comes to mind with respect to our stay. We were fortunate to book 3 weeks at the Beach Cottage, and so glad we did.The Location: 5 min stroll (1/2 block) to some of our favorite beaches on the island, for surf, turtles, snorkling, sunsets...everything. 2 min to the Maha'ulepu Heritage trail - three miles of paved path and green space for walking and cliffside trail for hiking / running. Multiple restaurants to walk to, but easy access to Koloa Old Town and Lihue. We love the south side of Kauai, and really challenging to think of a more perfect location.The Cottage: Beautifully crafted plantation style beach home. Easy living - perfect for a short or long stay. Indoor/Outdoor design is perfect for the location and weather, kitchen well outfitted, design and decor all super lovely and tasteful. Lots of other amenities like beach chairs, boogie boards, sun chairs, outdoor furniture, grill, hottub...all loved and used during the three weeks.The Hosts: Just super great people - you will love them. Super responsive and considerate - absolutely no issues with communication. Went out of their way to provide a few things to make our travel and stay easier for us to manage, and they provide great recommendations and Kauai "inside baseball" along the way. We used the included Poipu Athletic Club every day.Many thanks for the stay and lovely accommodations. We cannot wait to return.
