You walk up the staircase and are immediately pulled by the huge ocean view onto the lanai. The jungle like foliage, the smell of plumeria, the ocean and the sky enchant you as the tradewinds of this perfect vacation cottage on stilts whispers its name, “Malanai”.

Hale Malanai is perfectly situated a few short steps from the crescent shaped Baby Beach. We supply the beach chairs, towels and toys. You supply the memories. It’s the best spot for sunset viewing.

The advantage of being on stilts is that you not only get the “in your face” ocean view, you’ll catch the prevailing trade winds quite nicely as well. After all, Hale Malanai is named after those cooling winds!

The back lanai has been described as a tropical treehouse. Palm trees surround the space creating a private jungle oasis making this spot the coolest lanai in Poipu.

Got a rainy day? Pull the Murphy bed down from the wall in the living room and pile up for a movie on the TV. There’s a Roku streaming device to let you log into your favorite accounts.

This property includes beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler and umbrella. Please feel free to call us if any of these items are missing during your stay.
