Valley view homestay Kodai

This property is located at just 3 kms from BSNL office, kodaikanal lake. The uniqueness of the property is that is it is located at beautiful views. If you want to relax, forget about work, and stress, then this is the place for you.

Free wi-fi (25 mbps speed) and TV with tata play subscription. We do not have in-house food options, but our neighbor can provide home-cooked food. Please message (host) or contact the caretaker to get the neighbor phone number. You can also use Swiggy for food.

This property has:

- One hall (around 160 Sq.ft) with sofa, chairs. Hall has the balcony view and you can see the valley view by just moving off the screens.

- Two small rooms (each around 90 Sq.ft) that have queen size bed (5 by 6). Two adults can suit best in each room. Attached bathroom and balcony is available in these rooms. The balcony provides you the valley view.

- One mid-size room (around 135 Sq.ft) that has one king size bed (6 by 6.5). Maximum of 3 adults can suit best in this room. Attached bathroom and balcony is available in this room. The balcony is slightly bigger than the other balconies and provides you 180 degree valley view.

- Another mid-size room (around 135 Sq.ft) that is available separately opposite to the main entrance with king size bed (6 by 6.5). Maximum of 3 adults can suit best in this room. Attached bathroom available, but no balcony. If you step out from the room, you can reach the common area where you can see the valley view.

Towels, toiletries, kettle, milk/coffee powders are provided.

Long stay is also available and 60% discount is provided if your stay is more than 20 days. For longer duration stays, laundry services can be done through the building staff.

Currently, we do not have in-house food options, but we are considering to have this option at a later stage. If your visit purpose is just to relax at the homestay and enjoy the weather with either minimal or no sightseeing, we recommend you to get the food that is provided by our neighbor. The prices are reasonable.

If your purpose of visit is only exploring sightseeing, then we recommend you to finish your dining while you step out for sightseeing. Sometimes, the foods might be delayed if ordered slightly late or if the food staffs arrive to work a little late.

Access to the whole building is permitted. There is a storage in the hall, and that storage alone has some personal stuffs and other stuffs such as towels, toiletries. This storage in the hall alone will be locked and not for guests.
Other things to note
Note that if you are new to Kodai and require cab services, you can get in touch with the building staff for pricing. Driver is multilingual and can connect you with your preferred language. An approximate charge for 2 days cab service will be 8000 Rs and it can also reduce depending upon the sightseeing visits. Details can be shared if cab service is required.

Campfire option is also available with additional charges if the weather supports (must not be raining). The charge for the same is around 1300 Rs and it might also slightly increase during rainy seasons.

About the building staff: A honest person and also provides the right pricing.

This building construction was fully completed in July 2024. So, that's why we are new to Airbnb and this building has no reviews yet.

This homestay is a compact building that suits best for 10 adults maximum. Please contact and check about the total members before booking.
