Located in the heart of Duck, the Nantucket Village Community condos enjoy a host of amenities all while overlooking the picturesque Currituck Sound. This spacious second-floor unit offers 3-bedrooms and welcomes your canine travel companion! When you're ready to soak up the sun, the beach access is only 0.6-miles (just an 11-minute walk) away!

You'll want to Startt Chillin as soon as you step inside this beautifully decorated and well-appointed home. The soundfront living room area features a cozy stone fireplace, comfortable furnishings, plenty of coastal décor, a TV w/ sound system & DVD player, and vaulted ceilings to give the space a more open feel. Pick-up some fresh seafood from a local market and bring it back to the fully-stocked kitchen to prepare a delicious evening feast. The dining table has seating for 6 and doubles as the perfect place to enjoy a family game of Scrabble or Go Fish!

When it's time to turn in for the night, choose between one of three tranquil bedrooms. The first bedroom features a nice Queen bed with TV, small seating area, and access to the soundfront deck. The second bedroom features a Trundle Twin Bed perfect for flexible sleeping arrangements—keep the beds separate for 2 Twin spaces or put them together for a King-sized bed. For ultimate relaxation, a Master King Bedroom enjoys sunroom access, sound views and a large attached bathroom w/ jetted jacuzzi tub & separate shower.

The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. I was there a month and really got to experience the Outer Banks during off season. It was close to all the necessities. I would highly recommend this place!

Overall, the location and cleanliness of the property was outstanding. We were approximately 4 minutes (driving) from downtown Duck and took full advantage of the shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood was located right on the Sound and we had a beautiful view of the water. We had full access to all the amenities. It is important to note that while the home was clean, it is very dated with rooms and furniture that date back to the mid-1990s.

OBX 1st Visit

Nicely located. Weather co-operated! Not too hot beginning of June. Loved our morning Duck Boardwalks and variety of shops. A nice art community with featured local Artists in private Galleries.

Outdated, dirty, needs makeover.

The online pictures of this unit do not accurately portray how outdated and unpleasant it truly is. I felt like I had been transported back to 1981, and I'm pretty sure no improvements have been made since then. The carpets in the bedrooms appear filthy and should have been replaced years ago. The raw particle board in the closets speak to how cheaply adorned the unit is. There was a half eaten, molded Disney string cheese on one of the dining room chairs which I noticed immediately upon arrival. The comforter and pillows on the king bed were old and stained and should have been replaced long ago. There were 4 long brown hairs on the sheets provided for the king bed. At this point I left and went and bought a can of lysol to spray the bed and sheets thoroughly before using them. Cleanliness is definitely an issue here.The outlet/lamp didn't work on the right side of the king bed. The two buildings in front of ours were both under construction, so instead of hearing the sounds of nature and water, we heard saws, hammers, and loud obnoxious construction workers all week. Obviously this was not disclosed to us prior to our booking/arrival. In hindsight, we should have booked a hotel room as we had originally intended. At least at a hotel you won't be charged for the entire booking if you do not stay the entire time. Needless to say, we left early and would NEVER book this place again.

Beautiful View

The property has a lovely view and the home comfortable and perfect weather. We were concerned about the beach access as the area which we were directed to by building management was Ocean Crest when we inquired the first time. The community has a sign on their access clearly stating it is only for owners and guests of this community. I sent a second communication with a picture of the sign to property management but never heard back from them. My husband also wanted to use the master bedroom hot tub, but the water heater does not have enough hot water to fill above jets. The heater is 80 gallons and should have been enough. We communicated to property management concern that perhaps the hot water heater needed attention, but did not hear back from them.

Just the right Amount of Nature

This was a perfect place with three teenage kids and a Golden! The Sound offered water play and Sunsets like we’ve never seen before. The closed in sun porch quickly became a reading room. My husband and I enjoyed the running/ waking part across the street. Our three teenage kids were very comfortable with the space. As were my husband and I.
