This 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom rental is perfect for those who want to get away to the beautiful town of Southern Shores. A short drive north will bring you to the town of Duck where you can grab a bite to eat, enjoy local shopping, and even stroll on the Duck boardwalk. When you want to enjoy endless beach days, no worries! At Blue Pearl, you're an easy walk away from the Southern Shores private beach access. Tired of the sand? Head back to Blue Pearl and splash around in the private pool or rock back and forth in the many Adirondack rocking chairs on the two full-size balconies facing the ocean. Blue Pearl is also a pet-friendly OBX rental home so the whole family can truly enjoy the beauty and adventure Southern Shores has to offer.

Inside this pet-friendly OBX rental home, you'll have access to a spacious rec room when you still want to have fun but get out of the sun. Play a round of pool, pour up a drink at the bar, or just relax and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. Wonderful place

Our family loved this house because of the available rooms, bathrooms, secluded private pool, hot tub, pool table, elevator, and closeness to the beach. The views were awesome. The beds were comfortable and not hard. Loved that it was so close to Duck and Kitty Hawk. Only negative was that the top floor was hot in the very hot summertime. We had a fantastic time here and owner was very responsive to questions. Thanks!

Perfection on the beach

This house has everything. It is right on the beach with a very short walkway to the public access over the dune. Our family of 6 adults and 2 small children got plenty of use out of the pool and hot tub. The main living area is comfortable and functional with a spectacular view of the ocean. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The master bedroom was especially large and comfortable. The only trouble we had was locating the washer/dryer (they are in a closet accessed from the master bedroom closet.)

Elevator issue

The elevator as advertised was not for disabled. Had to climb one steep steps to get to floor with elevator. I had heart surgery in April but fortunately I was able to slowly climb when needed. Others may not be so fortunate. I definitely think it should be explained. Rented many homes with elevators and never had to think if it was on ground floor. Other things about house were fine.

Nice Place

We truly enjoyed the Blue Pearl. The view of the ocean is amazing. The house is well laid out. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed and no shortage of place settings, silverware, glassware or just about anything you would need to cook with.
