My mother and I stayed here along our road trip through the whole country. We were so thoroughly impressed with how clean, cozy, quiet, and prepared this day was. The kitchenette had everything we could imagine, the bathroom was spacious and nice, and the bets were very comfortable with extra bedding available. If we had the ability, we would have added another night here just to enjoy the property. Itâs a beautiful view along a quiet farm and even though there are neighbors, itâs extremely private and cozy. Thank you for such an exceptional stay!
The beautiful views while sipping gin and tonics from the porch was so relaxing. Sometimes itâs fun to be in cities and sometimes the middle of nowhere is just grand.
This place had enough space for my husband and I and is conveniently located off the Ring Road and 208, which gives access to F208 and F210, among others. The views from the porch are beautiful and we experienced a wide range of weather during our short stay. We would certainly stay here again.
We stayed at this little VRBO which had all the essentials plus loads of charm for the two of us. It was very close to the ring road which made it an easy stop for the night before hitting the road again. The view out the front was spectacular for my morning cup of coffee as well. Would definitely stay again!
This was a small, but nice place to stay for a couple of nights. It was very clean and had what my husband and I needed to be comfortable. There was coffee available, and a hair dryer in the bathroom, both things I wasn't sure wewould have.
The location was about 48 km north of the town of Vik. The drive was easy and the property easy to find. Stunning views from both front & back of unit. Extremely quiet! Small, but enough room for 2 people. Beds very comfortable. This was our first lodging in Iceland, so the small shower and lack of body wash cloths took us aback. After many more cottages like this one, we saw it is mostly the norm to have tiny showers and no body wash cloths. Kitchen had what we needed to make breakfast and coffee.
Cute little "tiny-house" feel. Was right off ring road and not too far from good sight-seeing areas. Although the electricity did go out twice and then rebooted on it's own (not sure if one of the other nearby properties flipped a breaker).
Great, secluded spot allowing access to all that is awesome in South Iceland
For us this was a perfect location. We had several days in the South with goals to see the waterfalls, the place crash and the Glacier Lagoon. This spot allowed that. During Aurora season this would be incredible with sweeping views of dark skies. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was, however, very cozy for three adults. Very cozy. For two, it's perfect with elbow room and a place to store luggage if staying for multiple nights as we did. My 20-something kids devoured the wifi and we hiked down to the river, up to the bluff adjacent to the property and flew our drones to get magnificent videos and photos fo the surrounding landscape. Loved it.
