There are many walking and cycling opportunities in the area, plus the famous and scenic Settle to Carlisle railway line that runs through Kirkby Stephen. The Eden Valley is perfectly placed for touring the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Teasdale and Durham, Hadrian’s Wall and the Scottish border.
