The lodge is nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and an abundance of outdoor activities.

Guests can enjoy stunning views of Loch Insh and the surrounding forest, with easy access to the centre’s fantastic range of watersports, including kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, the Jungle float, rowing, fishing and sailing. For those who prefer land-based activities, there are excellent walking and cycling trails, as well as an archery range, a Glice skating and a dry ski slope for skiing, snowboarding or tubing. On site, you also have the Boathouse Restaurant, bar and shop as well as the Ptarmigan Venue which was taken from the top of Cairngorm and resurrected at Loch Insh. Just a short drive away, visitors can explore the vibrant town of Aviemore, known for its outdoor adventure scene, shopping, and dining options. The famous Cairngorm Mountain offers hiking and, in winter, skiing and snowboarding.

Wildlife enthusiasts will love the Highland Wildlife Park, home to Scottish wildcats, polar bears, and red deer. For a more relaxed experience, take a scenic drive through the Rothiemurchus Estate, where you can enjoy peaceful walks, fishing, or a visit to a traditional Highland farm.
