Make memories at this unique, pet-friendly 1920s renovated lakefront cottage. This central location is minutes from unique dining experiences and the Epic Wine Country route. Spend your days dining at the cottage, indoors or out, watching the waves of Lake Erie in our sauna, sitting on our manmade beach, enjoying a fire, heading to the nearby beach, and watching the sunrises. An easy drive down the 401, or a quick drive from the border, join us to get away and take a breath with breathtaking views.

Our lakefront cottage is on a large lot, with beautiful shade trees on the shores of Lake Erie. The two-story cottage has a wall of windows facing the lake, one main floor bedroom, king bed, with an ensuite bath, and two queen bedrooms upstairs. Another full bathroom on the main floor is available for all guests. The cozy kitchen overlooks the water and makes kitchen prep and clean up a peaceful experience. The large living room and dining room table means a great place to reconnect with family and friends in the evenings and play board games or cards. Or just watch TV by the gas fireplace. Head out to the manmade beach to make sandcastles and watch the waves or sunbathe. Enjoy time by an outdoor fire as the sun goes down. Then bring a coffee out in the morning to sit on one of our Muskoka chairs and watch the birds fly over the water as the sun rises. Walk along the break wall and watch the boats near and far. For a swim, use the stairs at our neighbours or walk to Cedar Beach for one of the biggest sandy beaches in the area. You, your friends, and your family can make memories to last a lifetime on the lake.

With ample parking, you are a 5-10 minute drive to a grocery story, or a short walk to the local bakery, beach, or marina. You can bike, run, or walk along Heritage Road on the walking path as well.

The property is along the lakefront stretch of Lake Erie with a mix of residential and cottage owners who enjoy the lake views, the 4 minute walk to Cedar Beach, the local bakery and more. Neighbours are friendly and the properties are close so there will be sounds of summer like music, campfires and more.

We have large amount of free parking, and you can jog, bike, or walk along the paths on the side of Heritage road. Walk a few minutes to Cedar Beach, or take your canoe or kayak to Cedar Island marina to use Cedar Creek. It`s a quick 5 minute drive to the amenities in Kingsville, or another 5 minutes in the opposite direction to wine country.

Our lakefront cottage is a place for making memories. Picture watching the water with your loved ones, relaxing in the sauna, laughing at jokes and having a glass of local wine. Or playing fetch in the large, grassy yard, with the bbq going and the waves splashing against the break wall. For breakfast, pull out the waffle maker, then pop some chili in the crockpot and head out for a day of local site seeing, or bike riding to the wineries for the more adventurous. Nothing beats being with friends and family on the lake.

Please note that our Airbnb is nestled in a vibrant area, particularly lively during the summer months. (Fall, winter, and spring are a much slower, quieter pace. ) While this adds to the charm and energy of the neighbourhood, it`s important to mention that there may be occasional music and festivities nearby. In the summer, we encourage our guests to embrace the local atmosphere and enjoy the lively ambiance, but if you`re seeking a quieter retreat, we suggest booking our other location down the street.

1. Each guest must respect the potential hazards of staying near open water, the fire pit, and using the sauna, and behave with safety in mind at all times. Any fire must be attended at all times. Steps to the lake are `closed` during winter months due to ice. (Sauna safety and instructions will be sent separately.)
2. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
3. Only registered guests are allowed. No overnight guests that the host has not been notified about.
4. Pets are permitted with approval but may not sleep on beds. Note that if you let your pets sleep in the beds you will be responsible for additional cleaning charges and any damages that occur.
5. Please remove your shoes when in the cottage.
6. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the cottage.
7. Incense or candle burning is not permitted inside the cottage.
8. Guests agree to consume alcohol and cannabis responsibly.
9. No exceptions to check in and check out times unless discussed with the host in advance. Note that if you do want to request a different check in or check out time, it must be requested 10 days in advance. This does not guarantee a change, however. A fee will apply for early check in or late check out times.
10. Leave the cottage in good condition. Leave used bedding on the beds and used towels on the floor of the bathroom on checkout.
11. Report any and all damages to the host immediately.
12. Damages exceeding the deposit amount will be billed to the guest and reported to the appropriate host site.
13. No excessive noise.
14. Guests will not use the premises for any illegal activity.
