Host & Stay | The Courtyard
The Courtyard is a dog friendly cottage nestled in the quiet village of Snettisham. Just a short drive from Heachamâs famous âsunsetâ beach and close to Norfolkâs top attractions like Sandringham Estate, Castle Rising, and Norfolk Lavender, itâs a perfect spot to explore the area. Sleeping up to six guests, The Courtyard is ideal for families and groups of friends.
The Space:
The open-plan living area has a comfy three-piece sofa with chaise, a smart TV, and Wi-Fi. French doors open to the courtyard garden.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle, and toaster. A dining table with four chairs is nearby.
Upstairs are two charming bedroomsâone with a double bed and the other with twin singles. A sofa bed in the living room can sleep two more guests upon request.
The upstairs family bathroom includes an electric shower, bath, toilet, sink, heated towel rail, and vanity cupboard.
The courtyard garden offers a lovely space for al fresco dining or relaxing, with a table and chairs for four.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at the property.
For the 5th or 6th guests, there is an additional sofa bed in the living room accommodating two more guests upon request.

Snettisham is a peaceful village in West Norfolk, near the coast of The Wash, making it ideal for a quiet retreat with its historical charm, natural beauty, and abundant wildlife.
Whether you are a nature enthusiast or simply seeking a seaside escape, Snettisham is the perfect choice, boasting picturesque beaches and a nature reserve. It is also part of The Wash, renowned for its mudflats and salt marshes, which create a birdwatching haven.
RSPB Snettisham Nature Reserve is perfect for walkers who want to enjoy serene strolls in nature.
For those looking to explore nearby attractions, The Royal Sandringham Estate, Castle Rising, and Norfolk Lavender are all less than a 15-minute drive away.

The nearest train station is King's Lynn Station, just a 25-minute drive away, offering regular connections to Norwich and onward links to London and other major cities. Local bus services also connect Snettisham to nearby towns.
Taxis can be booked in advance for further trips.
While driving offers the most flexibility, walking and cycling provide a delightful way to experience the village and its nearby coastal areas.
