Set within the owner’s land in the sought-after village of Ingoldsthorpe, Bramble Cottage is a detached barn conversion and makes the perfect base from which to explore this lovely part of Norfolk. Boasting open plan living and just 1 mile from the coast, you are sure to fall in love with this pretty little retreat.

There are so many celebrated attractions close by that whether you are a beach lover, a history buff or a wildlife enthusiast you will be sure to find much to see and do. Head to nearby Snettisham Beach, which is one of the quietest in the area or perhaps head to Heacham Beach with its painted beach huts. Just a little further along the coast is the seaside town of Hunstanton with its beach that seems to go on for miles when the tide is out and its famous stripy cliffs. Known as ‘Sunny Hunny’ by the locals, this popular seaside town is also packed with coastal attractions.

Drive east from here and discover a string of pretty coastal villages with a wide range of coastal habitats including picturesque quays and salt marshes. History buffs will find the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn, the Sandringham and Holkham Estates and Peckover House all within easy reach. Just a little further and you can explore the medieval city of Norwich, Blickling Hall and Ely with its magnificent cathedral too.

Bird lovers will find lots of bird watching opportunities in abundance in Norfolk, and not to be missed are RSPB Snettisham Marshes, which is just up the road, or Welney Wetlands which also lie within easy reach. Once you have squeezed all that in, you are sure to have worked up an appetite, so you will be pleased to find that this area is packed with great places to eat in whatever your budget or taste buds. Then you can head back to Bramble Cottage, relax, unwind and dream of adventures yet to come. beach 1 mile.

Bramble Cottage was everything we hoped it would be.

Bramble Cottage was everything we hoped it would be. It was well equipped and perfectly sized for us and our dog. We had a lovely, relaxing break and found this the perfect base to explore this part of Norfolk. We are very much hoping to plan a return visit.

Excellent dog friendly cottage. Lovely dog walk round the corner without having to cross any road. Found the bed a bit soft ( personal preference) lovely welcome pack plus dog treats. Would use again if in the area.

We had a lovely time in this cottage and found most things that you need are provided. the dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden. It is in a lovely quiet village which has some lovely walks, where we saw deer in the woods. It is close to Sandringham and very close to the beach.

A lovely little hideaway.

A lovely little hideaway. Entrance a little hidden and not clear where to park initially. Could do with some better signs and lighting. Garden suffice for a couple with one dog. Everything available instead, great stock of kitchen utensils and a lovely welcoming gesture with a bottle of wine, biscuits and treats for the dog. My only criticism would be a slightly more comfortable sofa, the weather wasn’t great during our stay so more time was spent indoors, personal preference really more than a criticism.

Beautiful gem!

Beautifully finished and decorated stable conversion. On arrival a lovely bottle of wine and cookies welcomed us! The cottage had this amazing sense of calmness. Great for dogs. Very close to the beach! Perfect! My only suggestion is - perhaps checking-in maybe a little earlier. Thank you for a lovely time.
