"The Turtle Shell Cottage" is an Outer Banks Rental Home located near the Harris Teeter grocery store and is only a few blocks to beach access to the Atlantic Ocean!

This Kill Devil Hills Rental Home caters to outdoor enthusiasts, providing built-in swings on exterior decking, hammock, cornhole, grill, beach chairs and other beach items, and more! As for a rainy day on the Outer Banks, "The Turtle Shell Cottage" has you covered, providing an entire game room filled with fun amenities like foosball, dart board, and more! With other comforting amenities like WiFi, Keurig coffee maker, and laundry room, you'll be set for an uninterrupted OBX Vacation!

321 provides 3 bedrooms, including a Queen Master Bedroom with separate access to hallway bathroom, another bedroom with Queen bed, and a Twin bedroom. The spacious great room offers an updated kitchen with island, dining area, and living area with plenty of seating. The secluded downstairs then provides an enormous game room with private bathroom and resting area!

Being located in the heart of the Outer Banks, this rental home is close to grocery stores, shopping, movie theatre, historic sites like the Wright Brothers Memorial, water sports, and so much more! This home's unique location on a commercial strip allows guests to walk to restaurants like Noosa Scoops for ice cream, Kill Devil Grill for a great meal, the Harris Teeter grocery store, and even stop by the neighboring OBXpress Car Wash to clean the salt air off your car before heading home! And, being only a few blocks to the beach, this home provides a beach cart and beach dolly for your convenience!

Layout:

Upstairs: Great Room with Living Area and Front Deck Access, Dining Area, and Kitchen, Queen Master with Private Access to Hallway Bathroom, 2nd Queen Bedroom, Twin Room, and Deck with Seating, Swing Chair, and Swing Hammock Chair.

Downstairs: Outside Hammock, Game Room with Foosball, Mini Fridge, Dart Board, beach toys, and more, and Washer/Dryer Room with Bathroom and Shower.

** To keep rental costs down, this OBX home does not provide linens. However, a linen package can be provided for an extra fee. Please contact Cove Realty of Nags Head for more information on this home's linen rental package. Also, Cove Realty is a Green company that limits excessive waste. As such, linens, toiletry items, cleaning supplies, and so forth, are not supplied at the rental home, so please be mindful to bring these with you or be ready to purchase upon arrival to the Outer Banks.

Our family had an amazing time at the Turtle Shell. The owners Russell & Terry were great to work with and could easily get in touch with them. The cottage had everything we needed, super clean and close to everything!! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be staying here!!

Very clean and great location!

We enjoyed our short weekend stay especially the convenient location. We were across the street from a Harris Teeter which made picking up dinner easy. Excellent restaurants close by as well. The property had great amenities including a ping pong table that the kids enjoyed. Easy walk to the beach too.

Perfect Vacation Spot for our Family with Children with Special Needs

Wonderful property and had everything that we needed to feel safe with our family who has two children with special needs. It was a short walk to the beach and we were surrounded by plenty of activities in the area. Rooms had everything in them to enjoy our stay and we felt right at home.

Great hospitality

We have stayed at a lot of locations while on,in to the Outer Banks and this is by far the cleanest location we’ve ever stayed at. Terry is extremely helpful with any and all needs. Will definitely recommend this place to our many friends and family that travel to the Outer Banks.

Enjoyed our short stay at this beach home. Great location despite the car wash next door which could be a little noisy at times. The owner was very good at communicating when we had any questions or concerns. I would recommend this property for small families for a quick getaway.

Turtle Shell was great! It had any and everything we could have needed or asked for during our stay. Location was great and central to everything we wanted to do and visit while in OBX. We look forward to our next visit and will absolutely plan to book Turtle Shell again.

A Perfect Family Property

Great family place

It was a fun place for our whole family. The owners are so thoughtful in providing all that's needed for the beach and even for a rainy day at home. The decor is whimsical and everything is beautifully maintained. The location is convenient and quiet. We loved this place and so appreciate all the Brinkleys did to make our stay enjoyable.
