It was a nice place. Everything we needed was there. Pool got pretty crowded in the afternoons. Beware of the bed foot posts. They hurt a lot on your toes. Not fond at all of the washing machine/dryer in one. It works but takes a lot of time even when used on the AI wash and dry choice. All in all it was a good stay. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the whales. Thanks again.

Great condo

We stayed for 10 nights at Amy's condo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is well equipped, has a great view and good location. Amy was easy to communicate with and checked on us part way through our stay to make sure everything was good.

Amazing Stay in Paridise

Great stay at Kihei Akahi. Amy is an excellent host, very engaging and responsive. Condo was as advertised with fully stocked kitchen and beach items. Viewed whales from comfortable setting on the lanai. Great view of pool / BBQ area. Steps from Kamaole Beach Park 2. All the shopping / groceries you could need within short walk. Recommend this resort and condo.

Maui spring break

My daughter and I had a lovely trip to Kihei. We have been to Kihei many times and love it! Our stay at the Akahi was great. We had a couple glitches but they were resolved by Amy. The numbers on the oven temperature dial had worn off so we had to guesstimate the temperature when cooking with the oven. Also, the washing machine wasn’t working properly but we were told the trick to get it to work after speaking with Amy. Overall, we had a nice stay and unit was decorated nicely and very comfortable!

The property this condo is on is beautiful and well kept. Two pools, tennis & pickle ball courts, bbq’s which were cleaned daily. The condo had everything you needed including beach toys, chairs and an umbrella. The view is beautiful and we have to say we were very happy at this condo. The owner Amy is very easy to work with and willing to help where needed. We highly recommend this property!

Condo was true to its description and well kept up. Amy was responsive when we requested a new beach umbrella and brought it to the property. Good location, close to beach and restaurants and lovely partial ocean view from third floor lanai. Would stay here again!

Fabulous Condo - that had it all!

Fabulous condo! It had everything we could have possibly needed. Everything for the beach, which was right across the street. A beautiful home to come home to after a fabulous day in the sun & sand. Beautiful finishings in a wonderfully renovated condo.

Beautiful stay

The apartment is as described and provides everything that one might need for a lovely beach holiday. Amy was easy to reach, and provided more than adequate supplies to enjoy the unit from day one and throughout. The view from the living room and lanai is gorgeous, with beautiful sunsets. The building was quiet, and it was easy to access the beach across the street. There were many shops and restaurants and a food store within walking distance
no car required if you just want to relax and chill!

The condo was very well equipped and clean. The location was fantastic, the view from the lanai was a dream! Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Amy was quick to respond to my questions. I would love to book again. Mahalo!

Great vacation spot

Beautiful view from the balcony, nice surroundings and site amenities. Got to make use of the Pickle Ball court, and it was in great shape. You just have to write your name on the sign up sheet on the court door to reserve a time slot. Very close to restaurants, and a sandy beach is just across the street. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Bucket List Maui Vacation

Place was amazing , it had everything we needed for the 14 days we were there. The location was great, close to restaurants, food and numerous beaches. And the view from the Lanai

We absolutely loved our 8 day stay at the condo. The owner, Amy, responded to us immediately and made sure our time in her condo was fantastic. It is well appointed with a kitchen that included all we needed, extra bedding, extra towels and everything we could possibly need for our one year anniversary celebration. I would recommend Amy’s condo to anyone who wants convenience, comfort, a very caring owner and a condo with a gorgeous beach view !! We are very much looking forward to our next stay at this amazing condo.

Very nice! Enjoyable visit!

We enjoyed our visit. It was everything the owner advertised except there was a surcharge to use air conditioning. I have never had a $10 per day surcharge. Some days were very hot. We did not use the air. In the ad let people know about the unadvertised fee.

great location

Great location, easy walk to beach, restaurants, shopping or just about anything you would want. Quiet location unless there are many children in the pool, but it closes at 9 so it is quiet after that. Condo has all you need for a week long stay. Highly recommended.

Nice Condo, but the appliances were filthy.

Checking in was simple enough. If you arrive after the office hours, you must check in first thing in the morning to get your parking pass. The Amenities and landscaping on this three building complex are maintained daily. A noteworthy item are their elevators, which are clean and work very well. The pool and grill area are cleaned and maintained daily. Lax security is concerning, but no episodes of misconduct to report during our 10 day stay. Upon arrival to the condo itself, the electronic door lock worked well for us and didn’t cause any issue. Entering the condo you Will find a comfortable pad with aging, cheap appliances. The stove is not cleaned properly, so flies and bugs are stuck to the grease along the side of it. The dishwasher stinks, but works for the most part. The washer and dryer worked fine. The towels provided on site were stinky and probably need replacement. The faucets and shower worked. The fridge and ice maker worked. Close by you will find Tamura’s grocery store where you will find fresh poke priced for the locals. Go to Kihei marketplace for souvenirs, and get a good cup of coffee at Java Coffee Roasters. Spend some coin for a decent fish dinner at Paia Fish Market. All in all a decent location with a beautiful ocean view from the condos lanai. If the owner put more effort in the cleanliness of condo as a whole, it would have earned a higher score.

A great location in Maui and Reasonably Priced

This is an excellent property to stay at while visiting Maui. Good access to some very nice beaches. Lots of good restaurants nearby to choose from. The owner of the unit was very helpful. When we noted that the bed pillows were not working for us, she bought new ones that were perfect for side sleepers. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back again, if staying in Kihei.
