Maui Kamaole #L-203 is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit situated on the second floor which sets the stage for a gorgeous ocean view. The unit provides air conditioning throughout as well as a full kitchen, washer and dryer, three TVs, complimentary wifi, and a telephone with answering machine. The master bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, a television, air conditioning, and an en suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king. The second bathroom provides a shower tub combo. The living room in Maui Kamaole #L-203 is includes a sofa bed, large screen TV, and air conditioning. For your outdoor enjoyment Maui Kamaole #L-203 is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and sand toys. This unit sleeps 6. Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.
The famous Kamaole Beach III is just across the street from the upscale Maui Kamaole. This property features lush tropical landscaping, two gorgeous pool areas with hot tubs and water features. There are gas grills peppered throughout the property and tennis courts available for your use. The Kamaole Beaches are world famous for their pristine water, long sandy shoreline, and great snorkeling. In addition during the winter, the humpback whales are just off shore and put on a great show. You will also enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. You also are within walking distance to activities, shops and restaurants and a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Perfect accommodations for our needs.

We stayed 5 nights. The grounds and pool area are fantastic. Not very busy/crowded for us (May 12-17). Condo is very comfortable. Need to use stairs to get to front door. And stairs to upper sleeping area (queen bed). View from main floor Lanai out the the ocean and sunsets is very nice. Location, on border of Kihea and Waimea is perfect. Close to both, but not on the main drag.

Christmas Family Vacation

I took my family (8 adults and two children (3 year old and 8 month old) for a Christmas vacation. I rented two units in the Maui Kamaole condo property near the small pool. We prefer the small pool because it is well shaded and has a hot pool. Unit L203 was well furnished and had a great view of the ocean. The micro wave stopped working and was immediately replaced by the management company which I appreciated. I have stayed at the Maui Kamaole many times and prefer it to the other condo complexes in Kihei because has much more beautiful landscaping than others in the area.

FULL OCEAN VIEW!! I stayed in this complex because my niece and her fiancé were here for their wedding, And I wanted to be close. I was not disappointed!! The view out front were spectacular and the views out back of the mountains and the swimming pool were beautiful.

We love Maui

This property was nice. We would stay here again. Just a few things
the cabinets in the kitchen showed a bit of wear and tear and need some attention. The bedroom on the main level had a mildew smell in it. It might be from the filter in the air conditioner, but not sure. The shower head in the upstairs master bathroom needs to be replaced. I did appreciate that it had a hose attached, but I couldn’t get it to switch over to use it. One last thing we wish the pool area would stay open until 10:00pm. The security guards were very nice who patrolled the property.

Great complex!

Stayed a week with my husband, 19 and 25 year old kids. We were contacted the day we were to arrive and advised that there was a problem with the unit we booked as the previous guest had smoked in it. We were given the adjacent unit and provided the listing to confirm that it was equivalent to what we had booked. I was really pleased that the property manager was so proactive, and we were really happy with the unit. The Maui Kamaole complex is in a great location, we could easily walk to the Kam III and II beaches. Lots of restaurants and shopping in close proximity. Travel to West Maui took 30 minutes and Wailea is less than 10 minutes away. We stayed in L202 - the unit overlooks the very lovely pool grounds from the bedrooms and has a lanai with an ocean view from the living room. The complex is quite quiet, which we enjoyed. I was impressed by the amenities provided in the condo. We did a fair bit of cooking, and it was great to have good quality pots and sharp knives, as well as a rice cooker! Beds were quite comfortable. Boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel sets were provided and were in excellent condition. We used the bbq in the pool area, it was very convenient and appeared to be brand new. I would recommend this unit and this complex to anyone.

Beautiful condo next in South Kihei

Overall, great experience. Few things to highlight: a beautiful swimming pool right outside. You can even see the pool from one of the balconies which makes it handy with older kids. The other bonus is that it's a walking distance from the small harbor where many snorkeling tours start. Really handy as you don't need to worry about taking your car or finding a parking spot.

We had a wonderful vacation, mahalo! In regards to the condo at Kihei it seems to be outdated and needs some refreshing for air conditioning, beds are too soft and small master bed, beach gear getting old and needs replacement.

We recently stayed at Maui Kamaole on our family vacation. The property was spacious and clean. There was a great view of the ocean. The air conditioning units were much appreciated. The pool area was very clean. We also used the BBQ in the pool area. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place

What a great condo! First family trip in the books. Came with our three sons (7-12 yrs) and had a blast. The place was clean and the carpet felt very new and soft. The pullout sofa bed was great and it was the perfect location near to the pool. The boogie boards and beach chairs in the lanai closet were the icing on the cake. So nice that we didn’t have to rent those things. We would definitely stay here again. Oh and very quick response time from management. A++

A fine stay

Great location, great pool area and grounds. As stated in many of the other reviews, the unit itself could certainly use a refresh. The carpets in particular gave us the constant feel of being in a less than clean place, especially with small children playing and crawling around on the floor. We would have appreciated a pack and play provided for baby sleep, but the rental company refused to provide one and the cost of renting one is high. If they were to buy one they could have it available for families for years to come. If you’re wanting privacy for the guests staying upstairs, the wall of the upstairs area is not closed and therefore sound will carry upstairs. Overall the unit is acceptable for Maui and the location is great!

Awesome Home Base for Maui Exploration

The unit had plenty of room for our family, and was clean and pleasant to live in. A really nice plus was the availability of boogie boards, beach chairs, and a cooler! The location of the unit is perfect. Maui Kamaole is south of the main hustle and bustle of Kihei, and the unit is located towards the back of the property away from the main road. It is super close to a really great swimming pool, and the bubbling sounds from the waterfall feature at that pool was great ambient noise when we had our windows open. This is a great place to enjoy a Maui vacation!

Great location, great property, would stay again!

The property was clean and as advertised. The check in/out process was VERY easy, and communication was great. Our family LOVED our stay at this property, and we would definitely stay here again in the future. Location of the property was perfect...far enough from the main shopping areas so that we could enjoy the peace and quiet, but close enough that we could take a quick walk to the beach or the shops. And we also loved the fact that the unit was so close to the swimming pool (which was beautifully maintained as well) because it gave our kids the option of where to swim!

Incredible location

This is a good unit located in a fabulous condo complex. We had an amazing time! Pluses: Best location ever, if you want to wake up each morning and walk across the street to go snorkeling with sea turtles (which is what I did). I didn't have a car for the first week, and I got lots of exercise walking up and down the hill (which was fine by me). There's lots of great food and stores within walking distance, and at sunset, many people in the neighborhood congregate at the park directly across from the condo complex for a lovely, relaxing view of the sunset. Once I rented a car, it was even more fun, and I saved some time and energy not having to walk the hill several times a day. The unit is right across from the best pool in the complex (IMO), as well as a gorgeous hot tub. When we were there (end of August - beginning of September), it was not crowded at all, and every single person I met in the building was very friendly. The unit has air conditioning, which I found essential in the beginning, but once I got used to using the fans I didn't need it as much. Also - having a code for the front door, rather than a key, made it SO much easier to go snorkeling than if I'd had to worry about leaving a key on the beach. :) Minuses: Some of the aspects of the unit could use an upgrade (e.g., carpeting, can opener, pots/pans). Also, while I was there the neighboring complex was undergoing construction, which was a bit noisy during working hours, so I had to keep the sliding glass door of the lanai closed. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying (and not something under the owner's control). Overall, I highly recommend this unit and this complex.

Nice view and excellent location

This was a nice property for our Hawaii vacation. It fit our family of four very comfortably and had almost everything we needed. There was some construction going on in the neighboring property but we were up early and getting ready to head out for the day by the time the work really started going. The condo could also use some kid’s sand toys, but it was nice having boogie boards a cooler and beach chairs available. Overall a great place to stay.
