Pros- clean condo with easy access from main road in Kihei. There is a pool and hot tub which were a must have for my husband. It was in a convenient location and pretty quiet despite the road right there. Cons - I wish there would have been these details in listing-1. While condo is very close to the beach, the beach itself is rocky and rough surf. I never saw a soul swimming off the beach here. We ended up driving to different beaches daily, none of which were along the Kihei coast. 2. Details like what coffee maker is here, what renter may want to buy (baggies, ground coffee, extra towels), the fact that the pool code changes weekly (should be provided before check-in)3. There werenât enough towels to go around just with 2 of us here for 6 days. I ended up having to do a load every other day to keep up. While there is a community laundry room close by, it does require you to download the app and purchase a minimum of 10 each time you need to add money. 4. This condo has little privacy as far as opening your blinds to let the light in- it is level to the parking lot and faces it. This was slightly annoying for us in the evenings as we sat visiting on the couch and wanted the slight breeze and sunshine. I might consider staying here again even with the downsides, as the quiet and convenience are 2 of my main concerns. It would have been lovely to be closer to a main swimming beach though, where we didnât have to pack up the car every day.
