We had a wonderful stay here and it fit our family of 4 perfectly. Location was good, pool and hot tub were clean, and condo was clean and quiet as well. Took off one star as we cook quite a bit when we stay on the island, and there were no oven mitts provided to take things out of the oven, only 2 tea towels, and could have used another frying pan. Also, the fire alarm would go off in this unit every time we would boil water, which was odd. We have also stayed in other places that supplied boogie boards and sand toys for the kids, which were not in this unit. Otherwise, those small things aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay at Maui Sunset again in the future!

Week in paradise

We loved our week in Maui. We have always preferred to stay in Kihei but Maui Sunset condos will be our preferred location in the future. The pool area (perfect pool and hot tubs temperatures!) and green space are both wonderful. The room was good and as advertised. The Hideaway bed was comfortable and easy to put up and down. People generally respected quiet hours and we all slept great.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three of us stayed in the one bedroom. Having two bathrooms was perfect! The development is a bit older, however it is quite comfortable. The grounds are beautiful - perfect spot to watch the sunset. I do wish the beach was more accessible - it gave an excuse to visit more of the island. The location was perfect and it did not feel too touristy. We got the island vibe.

We enjoyed our stay with Maui sunset the condo fit our family perfect and everything was is great condition. On our last two days there was maintenance above us making a very loud noise which sounded like they were coming through the floor. The cooler supplied and activities were a great addition as well. It was nice to have the portable fan in the bedroom. The ac is noisy going off and on, so the fan was adequate along with the ceiling fan to keep the room cool.

Clean & good location

This place is exactly as you see on picture. Very clean. Love the little things like beach towels and chairs. Nearby all the stores and restaurant. The only thing is the check in process which I didn't think it was convenient at all. Office hour was only until 5pm and we arrived after 8pm, we wanted to head out early the next morning to do things but have to make it back before 5pm to get the pool keys and parking tag.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was awesome with everything you need! Living room was spacious with a sofa bed, a Murphy bed and a/c. The bedroom also had its own a/c - which was great! We were able to do laundry and dry our towels which was super convenient! Had an issue with microwave and contacted the host and it was addressed same day. The location is on the beach (no roads to cross like some others) with wide green space. Pool was great for the kids. The only VERY MINOR recommendation I would have is to put the TV in guest mode or have option for “input source”. I brought my own firestick for fear of signing into a random TV-, but couldn’t select the input source, so didn’t get to use it for the kids (made us enjoy Maui more and less youtube LOL). LOVED THE STAY! MAHALO!
