Penthouse in popular, centrally located new construction neighborhood

Set within a majestic oak forest, the Maritime villas feel secluded yet are adjacent to the Sanctuary, East Beach tennis, and Kiawah's superb golf courses. Maritime is an ideal location is just across the street from the beach via Boardwalk 27 and is a short walk or bike ride to premier Kiawah Island amenities. This luxurious penthouse villa features an open interior, exquisitely detailed with hardwood flooring, beadboard accents, and high ceilings. This residence is beautifully adorned with sophisticated, yet comfortable, coastal furnishings. A coffered ceiling, fireplace with marble surround, custom built-ins, and wet bar highlight the spacious living room. Sliding glass doors open onto the screened porch, and a spiral staircase leads to the rooftop deck. From here, views of the Atlantic and the sounds of crashing waves can be enjoyed while lounging in the sun. Featuring granite countertops, subway tile backsplash, and custom cabinetry, the kitchen is open to the dining and living rooms. A WolfÂź six-burner range, Sub-ZeroÂź refrigerator, and farmhouse sink are both functional and stylish. The master suite features walk-in closets, access to the balcony, and a master bath clad in Carrara marble with his-and-hers vanities, soaking tub, and separate walk-in shower. Equally as beautiful are the three guest suites each with their own baths with granite vanities, beadboard accents, and subway tile. Guests will enjoy access to the private community pool and outdoor kitchen facilities, as well as two private covered parking spaces at ground level.

The Maritime community restrictions prohibit rental guests from bringing pets and from using the electric grills on the back deck and the fireplace for fire code safety reasons. There is a designated grilling area by the pool. The facility is also non-smoking.

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2012 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access;. Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. No smoking and no pets allowed.

This was our second year in the beautiful place - only disappointment was in how the community property itself (grill and pop) were being kept up! ESPM were very responsive to our concerns but couldn’t fix everything.

we had a girls trip for a tennis tournament at Roy Barth tennis center. it was just a short walk from the condo. the condo is extremely well equipped and comfortable for our large group of 8 women. The ice maker was not working and looked like it hadn't for awhile, but that wasn't really an issue for us, but it should be addressed before others book.

Absolutely Stunning and Perfect Location

We enjoyed this beautiful home, however, a few of the things broken were never fixed in the home. Previous renters clearly didn't notify managing agent. We plan to return because of how spacious and comfortable the home was. Property location is perfect...close to beach and well kept pool!!

Beautiful home with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Lots of bright, great living space. Our only complaint is the outdoor spaces. They need to be cleaned. There were thick webs along the screens and railings (lots of dead bugs). Just constructive criticism but we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family return to Kiawah

After two years of the pandemic keeping us from travel four generations gathered for the week. The penthouse was perfect. Very safe for a 16 month old, no stairs for an 88 year old, and gorgeous, well stocked, great location.

Fabulous location and lovely decor

We love staying in the Maritime Villas. Unfortunately, this was the first (of 4 or 5) times that there was an ant problem--big red ants, and lots of them. Some days were worse than others, but after five days, I was really anxious to get away from the ants. The floorplan is fabulous, and the decor was very nice--comfortable beds, good linens, comfortable furniture, well-stocked kitchen. No disposal in the kitchen sink, which was a bit frustrating (and perhaps a reason for the ants?), and the water temperature of the sinks and showers was difficult to adjust and maintain--mostly it was extremely hot, so that was odd. But still a beautiful place, and if it hadn't been for the ants, we would have enjoyed it very much.

Perfectly updated & clean & bright

This was the first time we have rented on Kiawah as we have been property owners since 1992. We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the beautifully decorated interior. We would definitely stay here again as it’s central to the beach , East Beach grocery shopping & to the River Course. We had a great week!

Wonderful property in a great location.

We'd love to come back in warmer weather but that did not stop us from enjoying all that Kiawah had to offer. The accommodations were very comfortable with a homie feel. ESPM provided wonderful instructions and communications. Good folks.

Family Spring Break 2021

My family of 5 (my wife and 3 teen age daughters) thoroughly enjoyed the property at 6018 Maritime in East Beach. The property was impressive with plenty of space to spread out (needed with 3 teenagers) and open space to fellowship together. My wife and I enjoyed the multiple porches including the large screen in porch as well as the top floor penthouse deck where you can hear and see the ocean. We would definately return to this property!
