Great kitchen and fully stocked with EVERYTHING you need. The unit is nice and in a good location. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the gondola and a 7 minute walk to the village. We were very pleased with our stay.

Perfect location

Location is perfect to the gondola and short walk to the village. Condition of unit was very nice and clean. Condo size was great for a large group (Mom/Dad plus boys 18-23). The air matress did not hold air for 2 of the nights which was bad for the boy who had to sleep on it. Once maintenance finally brough a new one on the 3rd night it was great. TV/Internet worked first night, spotty on 2nd and 3rd night and did not work last night. Maintenance could not fix. Super annoying. Host was very responsive and helped to escalate issue to get resolved. Maintenance said they were busy. Host said getting a new dishwasher. As in past reviews it only works sometimes. Being on the 5th floor, you do not control the temperature inside. We had the thermostat on 60 degrees because it was very warm and was told to open the door or use the fans in the unit because "heat rises" from the units below us. As in the description only 1 parking spot. It is 25 a night for the 2nd car to park.We felt cost of unit was high for the multiple issues which is why we gave a 4 star overall rating. 4 stars on check-in because it was off site although disclosed in description.

Therese was an incredible communicator. She left a handwritten note and bottle of wine thanking us for staying there. The property was exactly as advertised and perfect for our long weekend adventure. It also had more things stocked than any other VRBO we’ve stayed in - so awesome! Thank you, Therese

Great Service, problematic property

The location of the Red Hawk lodge is perfect. Everything is in walking distance. Unfortunately the layout of the building is not great. Only one elevator goes to the 5th floor and it breaks down a lot. The dishwasher barely worked. First the bottom rack doesn't roll, then the disposal backs up into the dishwasher. There is no air conditioning, only very loud fans. Lots of fans, but you can't have a conversation while they're running. Being on the top floor, the heat of the building collects and makes the condo particularly hot. This will only get worse as the climate changes. Beware of renting in summer. The rental property staff could not be more responsive or pleasant but the problems are with the infrastructure. They need a new dishwasher that works properly, or take it out. They need all magnetic pans for the lovely induction stovetop. We're all home owners and know that things have to be maintained. It's clear the owners love this place. I'm sure they'll maintain it. Just be sure to ask about the dishwasher, induction-friendly pans, the status of the south elevator, and the possibility of air conditioning.

Once we received the check in packet everything went smoothly. They had the wrong email so I didn’t receive the info prior to arrival but I contacted the property owner and she responded quickly and directed us to where we needed to go. This is a great property and location.

Good & Bad Experience

Building logistics confusing. Took forever to get into unit. Parking a problem. Signs poorly done. Nobody on site to talk to. Just a bad management experience. Unit was nice, bedrooms comfortable, views outstanding. Didn’t seem a good value for the price we paid.

Great property, Great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A couple of improvement suggestions. Need hooks in the bathrooms to hang up used towels. Dishwasher is great, but lower basket runs off rail. I suspect that this is due to the heavy kitchen dishes. I suggest changing to lighter dishes, such as Corelle dinnerware.

Great condo - but annoying issues

The condo was as-advertised. Spacious, comfortable and great location. Small issues, but at this price-point would expect a little more: 1. Check-in - no smart locks. Drive to office location, find envelope in lock box containing card-keys 2. Parking - 4 bedroom condo and only 1 parking pass. Turns out this is a feature of the building as they only built 1 spot for each unit, but would have been good to know this in the listing. We had two cars and had to park one off-site with expensive overnight rate 3. Garbage disposal did not work. Filled it with food, turned it on and nothing. Called the mgmt company and were told they could send someone the next day. after 20 mins of clearing food out and tooling around we fized it ourselve. Seems some plastic was jammed inside. Cleaners or mgmt co should check these things between guest stays 4. Coffee Pots - there are 2 coffee makers, which is great. Turns out one of them has an after-market pot (or lid) that does not quite work with the machine. result was a huge coffee mess. Careless.

Wow! Best ski place ever

We could not have enjoyed our stay at this condo any more. We have stayed at many ski condos, and this one checks all the boxes. It was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need from gadgets to spices, coffee, and even plastic wrap/foil/ziploc bags. The location is one of the closest to the River Run Gondola. Just a short walk. Best of all, three of the BR have king sized beds so adults don’t have to sleep on twins or bunks. The 4th BR with the bunks is great for children. The owner was very responsive to questions I had. We will definitely be booking this one again but better book early because it is a winner!

Clean, spacious place near River Run gondola

Great location for skiing and close to restaurants and shops. Comfortable set-up for a large group with kids; place was very clean and had a lot of nice extras - games for kids, well-stocked kitchen, etc. We loved having the open family room & kitchen space for the group. As a heads up, if you need parking for 2 cars, we did have a little scare when the management company didn't provide us with two passes at check-in, but that got resolved quickly as the passes were in the unit. Also, the dishwasher wasn't working but owner is looking into getting it fixed. Other than that, the place was perfect and we recommend it.

Spendid vacation location for extended family

This was our second year staying at this location! We love the conveinence of being able to park in the underground garage. We also love the space in the condo (for 8 adults and 3 children), how well furnished the kitchen was, the comfort of the furniture, and how well our needs were met. We needed to contact the management company to provide more humidifiers and they responded quickly. We also had another issue with the queen size air mattress having a leak (which we tried to patch unsuccessfully) and another one was brought to us! We enjoy being able to walk to the River Run Gondola. All of my communications were responded to in a timely manner! Our entire family enjoys this location!

The absolute perfect stay!

This condo exceeded our expectations and they were high! Communication with the owner was wonderful. Upon arrival, check-in was seamless and easy. We just loved everything about this beautiful condo. It was beautifully decorated, and all of the rooms seemed fresh and new. It had everything you could possibly need for your stay, and the mountain view from the condo is absolutely breathtaking! The location of the Red Hawk is fantastic with just a short little walk to the gondola. We come to Keystone every year; and we all agreed, this will, hopefully, be our new rental.

Perfect for a group trip to Keystone...

This condo unit was perfect for our group snowboarding trip. More than enough room, clean, well appointed, and close to everything. All check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend this unit to friends.

Absolutely amazing!

In summary, this place was amazing! It was spacious for our large group of eight adults and five children. Everyone had a bed to sleep in. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and updated nicely. The walk to the gondola was about 3-4 minutes. The ski locker was large enough to accommodate almost everyone’s gear and the parking garage was very convenient. We loved it so much we’re definitely coming back!
