The Shipyard Pool will be closed beginning August 1, 2026, for the Pool Deck Replacement Project. The project is expected to take 30 days, with the goal of having the work completed and the pool reopened by September 1, 2026. During this time, no pool will be available to the guests.

Nestled in a quiet corner of the Shipyard section in the desirable Truman Annex, this 2-bedroom 1 bath downstairs condo offers peace, quiet, and convenience.

The location may just be the best part of staying at Conch Adventure! This property is just a couple of blocks from lively Duval Street for dining, shopping, and entertainment. You are also just a short walk to Mallory Square for Sunset Celebration every evening. Your biggest decision of the day is just maybe whether to head to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach in one direction or to the community swimming pool in the other.

Conch Adventure is great for one or two couples, a small family, or a few friends. The home is complete with a fully stocked kitchen with a state-of-the-art microwave convection oven and all cooking essentials. Make a pitcher of Margarita's and sit out on the large back patio, situated overlooking the Truman Annex Waterfront Park and The Florida Straights.

This is a simple and cozy condo located in one of the best locations in Key West. The open living, kitchen, and dining areas are great for discussing the day's plans before heading out on the town. The washer and dryer and convenient parking location make this a great pick for your next visit to Key West.

Key West is the place to visit the lively nightlife and relax in the historic charm, flamboyance, and conch-style architecture that early Bahamian settlers made famous. It embodies a clash of the past and the present, and every building (including this rental) in Key West reflects this eclectic ambiance!

- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

- This home is on a monthly pest control schedule. The area of Key West is home to many insects such as termites, no-see-ums, and mosquitos. Pest control can not eliminate these insects during the swarming season. You may also encounter geckos, lizards, iguanas, frogs, and chickens during your stay in the area.
- Key West is a resort island where renovation of existing historic properties, new construction, and road repair sometimes occur without forewarning. AvantStay is not liable for any guest inconveniences caused due to construction in the area.
- Please note that if requested, the two twin beds can be converted into one king bed with bedding for a fee of $75. Please ensure you make this request at least 48 hours in advance.
- Please note that max occupancy includes infants.
- Please be advised that documentation may be necessary for ESA/service animals to gain entry.

Parking Details:
- One parking space per unit, no guest parking.
- No vehicle over 18’ long or 80” wide allowed.
- No large trucks, trailers, mobile homes, vans, campers or similar vehicles shall be parked in the Truman Annex.
- Motorcycles and scooters must be parked in the parking lot and not on sidewalks or porches.
- All vehicles parked within the community must either have a permanent parking sticker or a temporary parking pass (obtained at the Security Guardhouse).
- All others will be subject to ticketing and towing.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce it. This place is perfect for a Key West visit. We've been enjoying the area for 30 years and we've found this comfortable condo to be the best place we've stayed yet. Cute place but need fans

This was a very cute place but very warm and stuffy with the air on. I didn't see any return vents in the bedrooms. I would very highly recommend a fan in each of the rooms. A simple inexpensive fan would do wonders. Overall, we loved this place.

We were very comfortable. Clean, well maintained, kitchen was well equipped. Location was great. Pleasant walks and not loud. Enjoyed the front and back porches. The orientation guide was online only. More info about nearest grocery store, nearest beach, free buses etc would have been helpful. Bath/shower needs a grab bar for safety.

Great Place in a great area of Key West

This unit is in the Truman Annex which is an old Navy housing area turned over into modern private housing. This is an historic area and probably the best maintained area in Key West. It also is within walking distance to most of the attractions in Key West. Our unit was well stocked with a full kitchen.

For the rates we are paying, please leave more than one roll of one-ply, prison grade toilet paper. Also, inside for the brunch stocked fridge package - delivered bagels were moldy and package items were switched without asking - we couldn’t eat half of what we purchased.

Well Maintained - Great Location - Recommended!

Loved the location - convenient and walkable to many great destinations, and the neighborhood was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed many mornings on the patio and afternoons/evenings at the pool. The condo was equipped with all of the basics needed for our stay, and it was quite comfortable for our family of four. We'd rent this unit again!

Location, community aesthetic and pool are all fantastic. Condo itself was very well stocked, but decor is dated & furniture a bit uncomfortable. Info we rec’d on the condo indicated we’d have access to a Roku, but there wasn’t one we could find. Also never got the WiFi in the condo to work, but didn’t pursue it after initial inquiry as we were too busy with other activities. WiFi at the pool works well. Would definitely go back to this condo community, will just look for a different unit next time.

Get place in a quite neighborhood, reserved parking within a few feet of the door

Beautiful property within just a few minute walk to old town but still far enough to be quiet. Easy access to the beach also was a plus. The unit is modern and clean had everything we needed and then some.

Best location in Key West

We’ve stayed in Truman Annex six times now and this was our favorite unit so far! You’re literally steps away from the new waterfront park they’ve developed by the museum ship. The unit was clean and had everything that we needed to be comfortable for a 10 day stay. You’re only three short blocks away from Duval and the center of the action! The outdoor area was nice and secluded. Love this place and will rent again next year!

Great place

My two kids and I just spent a week here. Very nice property, located in a great area. Recommend renting a bike, as it makes exploring much easier. Two days before we were to depart, the fridge stopped working. The management company brought a mini fridge and a cooler for ice. Wasn’t great, but not the end of the world and they were quick to get a repairman to try to fix it. Only have two “issues”. First, the couch is terribly uncomfortable. The place is small, so seating options for tv viewing at night are very limited. A new couch would be a great upgrade. And two, a tv in the bedrooms would also be nice. But overall a great place to stay.

Terrific Location!

This property is located in a beautifully landscaped, quiet part of town, yet only a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. We enjoyed the use of the private community pool and walks along the harbor, directly across the street.
