Iâm writing to express my disappointment with our recent stay in Room 148. This was our third visit, and unfortunately, it did not reflect the quality we previously experienced.
The room was not cleaned properlyâfloors were dirty, the sink was clogged, and essential items like a shower cap and Q-tips were missing. Our room was never serviced, and we werenât provided a âDo Not Disturbâ sign.
We were also not informed that the property was under construction. Our room was placed directly next to the work, which disturbed our 14-month-old. Had we known, we likely would have made other arrangements.
Additionally, the Calusa restaurant was closed, and we were told its menu would be available through room service. This was not true. Key dishes were missing, and the alternatives were disappointing. The Mexican restaurant served undercooked rice, inedible beans, and canned tuna in place of fresh sushi.
Mosquitoes were also a major issue throughout the resort, making it difficult to enjoy the outdoor space.
Weâve had great experiences in the past, but this visit felt misleading and subpar. I hope management will offer a fair resolution.
