Located inside, private, gated Kawama Yacht Club & Marina. With access to:
3 pools, 2 tennis courts, a 4.5 acre salt water lagoon with tropical fish. The Jetty extends 1,000 feet into the ocean for fishing and beautiful sunsets.
Dockage for boats up to 45 feet. Free use of the Boat Ramp. Free Trailer Parking.

We provide Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Bikes, fishing equipment, tennis equipment, pool & beach floats, etc...
A golf cart is available.

The host was welcoming, very informative, answered all our questions and was very helpful.The place was very clean.The community had many amenities we enjoyed (Pools, Lagoon with Tropical Fish that would eat out of our hands, the Jetty we fished from, Tennis & Pickel Ball Courts, Walking trails).The host provided us with Kayaks, PaddleBoards, Bikes, Floats, Snorkeling gear for free. We did not have to leave the complex except to go to the many nearby restaurants.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay and the property owner was VERY accommodating. One small hitch involved the use of the condo's bicycles which were in pretty poor shape. One bike was put into working order but we were never able to ride together.

Rental was run very unprofessionally. Marina and the surrounding resort were great however. - The unit showed in the pictures was not the one we got when we arrived. It was much older and had undesirable bed options for our group. - The Ad says pet friendly, but we got there and the host said we couldn’t stay with our dog and that no pets were allowed. After debating, we were able to stay but had to only use back door and keep blinds shut so the owner’s didn’t know there was a dog through their ring camera. - The ad said golf cart included and the host tried to charge $100/day instead. - The unit itself was very much “lived in”. There was personal belongings everywhere such as jewelry, food, clothes etc. Overall, the resort and marina were fantastic but the hosting was disappointing.

Deceptive Listing

My husband and I stayed for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I have never been more uncomfortable and disappointed with a rental. The location of the unit was great, central to pool, lagoon, playground and BBQ. We arrived and received a 30 minute tour of the premises by Norman. Everything started fine. When I inquired about the golfcart, I was told it wasn't working, and to walk as it was good exercise. (this was advertised in the listing, and the property is large enough to warrant one). He then said he would try to get a working one. Then he mentioned that the storage space on the first floor of the unit was for the use of his guests. I assumed the use of his guests in that rental meaning us, not the 30 units he owns there. So there was constantly people in and out of this storage unit. In addition, I later find out a man is living in the storage unit. When i brought it up to Norman, I was told "he is a very nice man". I was extremely uncomfortable with this, as he failed to mention it on our tour, but made sure to tell us how he owns everything there. We did finally get a working golfcart that lasted 20 minutes. On Sunday, my husband and I made the decision to leave. We were not enjoying the amenities like we could have been, and I felt very uncomfortable with the undisclosed person living downstairs. I am sure he is going to say we were disappointed because our boat only worked for a day, but that was the same day I found out about our unknown guest.

From start to finish this property was amazing. So much to see and do. We absolutely loved the uniqueness of the location, the lagoon was a huge hit. Norman went above and beyond!!

Great vacation spot

The location of the unit was excellent, very close to the pool, lagoon and playground. My grandkids loved staying in the attic room. Having the use of the golf cart, kayaks and pool toys was a real plus. The only drawback was that the kitchen/living room floor was quite a bit warmer than the other floors even though we had the fans on and were very careful to not leave the doors open.

We left two days early unhappy with the circumstances. On the first floor the bedroom reeked of mold my friend had to sleep in the Livingroom. The AC unit in the kitchen did not work at all, the kitchen was extremely hot. The toilet next to the kitchen did not flush, we had to lift the tank lid to make it flush each time we used it. The AC upstairs constantly went on and off all night which did not allow us to get a good night sleep. Two of the days we where there the go carts were not available. I feel I should be compensated for the two days that were not used and paid for. All of these issues were addressed with the owner while we were there.

very very trying visit

We would like begin by saying we have stayed in many VRBO over the years and have never been unhappy with the owner’s behavior or the rental. This owner tried to force his opinion and ideas upon us. First, he kept saying, as he showed us around the property, that he had not locked the doors in 35 years. He told us not to lock the doors to the unit. We neither agreed nor disagreed at that point. We are thinking his guy’s behavior is bazaar and that’s not going to fly with us with kids. We were quite confused about the property because it was not a 4/3 as had been posted. The bottom floor was full of items for other tenants of the complex to use. Also, this is where our washer and dryer was located too. This exterior door always remains unlocked so people can borrow beach items at will. It was a little shocking to find the bottom level of the unit we rented was like this, but what can we do at this point. We had traveled 12 hours from home and felt stuck with the undisclosed information of this unit. Then, we go up stairs to find that one of the rooms is the attic with two twin beds but was air conditioned. It had pull down attic stairs and full of junk against the walls and in the dresser.

Birthday Trip

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The evening golf cart ride to the point to sit out and look at the stars was so romantic. There was so much to do, we needed a full week to explore the Keys! This property was very nice and I would recommend. Host was very accommodating and easy to contact.
