Keep up with the keeper displays at the Wildlife Park just 4.1 miles away, or enjoy some of the many historic houses, castles, gardens and crafts such as William Wordsworth’s former home in Cockermouth, (6.4 miles). Keswick, just 6 miles away, is perfect for couples and families alike, with its climbing wall, Pencil and Puzzling Place museum, lakeside theatre as well as it’s own distillery. With plenty of shops, galleries, cafés and breathtaking views you are sure to have a great day-out.

With ample seating for the whole family to get together for games night or just the two of you cosying up in front for the flame effect fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped and stylish, with a 5-ring gas hob, wine cooler fridge and plenty of fridge space, it has everything you need to cook up a feast for four. If you are working for home or studying beckons, there is a perfect space into the corridor, well lit anperfectly d tucked away. The utility room is perfect for entering the home with muddy boots and is equipped with a stainless steel sink. Heading through the rest of the lodge, you will find the walk-in shower room to your left, ahead of the beautifully decorated twin bedroom.
