Kings Wharfe located on desirable Ocean Avenue, is a unique and very spacious 2000 sqft apartment with stellar views of the Kennebunk River. This large 3 bedroom 2.5 bath space is full of character with lovely built-ins and wood floors throughout. It also features an expansive primary bedroom with an entire wall of windows facing out towards the river. There is also a balcony overlooking the river, yacht club, and the boats. A short walk to the heart of Dock Square!
The Kings Wharfe is perfectly set up for guests to enjoy. Above a home to respected and welcoming retail spaces that are run by the owners, guests walk upstairs from their private entrance to the 2nd floor where they enter this spacious 3 bedroom apartment. With a mixture of new and vintage pieces throughout, this apartment is where comfort meets charm and design.
Featuring a living room with warm wooden floors, gas fireplace, and a window a/c unit, large dining area for friends and family to gather, fully equipped kitchen with anything one may need during a stay, custom built-ins and wooden beams, multiple seating nooks, 2.5 baths, and both the primary and second bedroom with ensuites.
The oversized main bedroom boasts a king bed with built in bedframe and end tables that face towards the wall of windows that overlook the river and the popular Arundel Wharf restaurant. A smart TV and separate closet/dressing space, along with cathedral ceilings with a ceiling fan, portable AC unit, and two nightstand fans are also features of this bedroom. The other two bedrooms are furnished with brand new queen beds, bureaus, window a/c units, and smart TV`s as well.
There is a 2nd floor balcony with ample seating and prime views of the Kennebunk River. A perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks and watch the sunrise and sunset, while the boats slowly wander in and out of the river. Watch both the 4th of July fireworks and Christmas Prelude fireworks from the balcony as well!
This sprawling apartment is the ideal location! A quick stroll right into Dock Square (downtown Kennebunkport) where you will find multiple stores and restaurants. Walk down the other way towards Stripers restaurant, and colony beach and hotel. Along that way, pop in to Dannah and Dannah for Men - two wonderful boutique shops. Right across the street, enjoy lunch or dinner at famous Mabels Lobster Claw. A short drive to our most popular beach in town, Goochs - aka Kennebunk beach. Not only is this the perfect central location and large, but it is oozing with that quintessential Maine charm!

This central location is one in a million. Right in the heart of the action, but still serene and peaceful as you sit up high on the 2nd floor and overlook the river and surrounding areas. A quick walk down the sidewalk of Ocean Ave into Dock Square. Multiple shops and restaurants a stones throw away. Stroll down Ocean Ave and take in the sights and all of the captions mansions. And of course - The Bush Estate, less than a mile away! This location really is the ideal spot for those looking to take full advantage of all that Kennebunkport has to offer, while providing a perfectly designed sanctuary to return to and unwind!
Many stores and restaurants, along with some beaches are a walkable distance with sidewalks. We do recommend having a car, to explore outside of the immediate area. There is a local ride service available as well, RideMaine.

As mentioned, there are retail spaces below - a high end clothing boutique and a wine shop. The stores close by 7pm. *PLEASE KEEP ALL COMMUNICATION THROUGH ME, as they are busy operating their stores* thank you!
In the front of the building is the Arundel Wharf Restaurant - a very popular seasonal restaurant right on the river. They do not operate past 9pm.
There are town trash bins on the side of La La Luna should you want to dispose of full trash bags during your stay - the black lid is for trash, the blue lid is for recyclables.
Laundry is located on the first floor in the mudroom/private entrance for your convenience.

That being said, especially in summer months, cleaning schedules and turn around times can be extremely tight, with many other factors at play - other guests, schedules of the cleaner, length of stay of prior guest etc.
**If you do stay past check out without prior approval, you will be subject to the charge of the cleaners during that time period, of which is $45 an hour.**
